Since I believe that the AB's has already did what was necessary to win the RC trtophy this year and is bound to beat the Springboks on Saturday - I believe that the team should not be too different from what is going to happen as to team selection.

It would indeed be a pity to replace Same Cane with McCaw as Cane was by a distance the best loosie on display the past two tests.   To replace him will essentially weaken the AB back row.  I think the McCaw aura will in fact not be really an improvement -  Cane is the future of AB rugby - McCaw the past.

I have serious reservations about Dagg.   In the last three tests he showed nothing and he is in fact the most disappointing player in the AB team this year - compared to the very high standards he set last year.   I think they should start with Piutau on Saturday and put Dagg on the bench.

However - after saying the above - the All Blacks have nothing to fear from the Springboks.  Meyer is obstinate and refuse to see where his team can be improved - so they have no chance of actually losing the test.

They do have problems in the hooker position and also in their props  - but they would not make any changes there.   There is nothing much to fall back on.

Gee mike...come on I agree with most of what you said. I can't agree with you thoughts of your own team. I rank them very highly. And they can beat the AB. This is the best opportunity to do so. SA can create some fantastic rugby that is extremely entertaining. Dagg is still off form. But is still very solid and dependable, but needs to back himself and have more of a go. I agree about Cane. MCCaw could come on mid way threw 2nd half. Or play first half Cane for 2nd. Either way there two guys who will do what ever needs to be done.
