Taute is to my mind an excellent option as a back up full back for the Springboks - I do not really rate him as the top center for 13 (there are better options available) - but think he should be in the squad as an alternative to the useless Kirshner.   Whilst I support Lambie's inclusion as full back - we seriously need a back up player in that position and to my mind Taute fits the bill.    However, he has been out for months and the question is - when will he be back in circulation?

I think it was a shoulder injury - something similar to Goosen.   Normally that takes about four months - but Taute has been out for longer I believe.

it will be nice to see him back in action i do really rate him as a player. under carlos spencer mentorship he really developed into a great player.
