into the office of the Chief Justice and stealing the computers - and then found that the Police could find no real evidence and then charged two individuals with possession of an unlicensed firearm and falsified ID documents - nothing about the break-in. One of the three arrested individuals were released because there was no proof of anything.
But the Big Story is that the so-called master-mind the Police was searching for read about the Police escapade in the newspapers and approached a lawyer. The two of them then went to a Police Office and the staff took two hours to take a statement from him. He swore he knows nothing about the break-in.
The general public is suspicious and think Zuma's agents are behind the break-in - so a TV show was put out to assure the public it was not a break-in by some government agents - but a crime by outsiders - and now it flopped. There will be merry days In Parliament next week and the opposition will demand a Parliamentary Committee enquiry - which will be fiercely resisted by the ANC.
