Hakkies, he's known to let a season or two pass between posts, but when on board he's a prolific poster .  He'll do an 'Arnie' methinks.

Aristocrat is a bright and serious young man. He was busy studying last I was in contact with him but no doubt is working hard to make his way in the world. Insightful poster and is missed.Cloudy I do trust you do not add moles to your mean boil- especially those disgusting kamp ss moles ?

Bob S-T denies being Alucard/Aristocrat, but boy they are close. Same likes and dislikes and same superiority outlook. He knows his shit though. ( as did Card), but he also have his blind spots like most of us.

Bob, I think he got banned from here after a fall-out with some of our Kiwi friends. I can recall Beeno mentioning that Card was unable to log onto this site.

I don't think that's true Draad but for what it's worth I'll email him. Like Bob says, he was one of the founding fathers in the rejuvenation of this site and remains one of my favourite posters.

Deny, please do contact him. I hope he wasn't banned. I recall it was just after the first time the site got hacked. Although we locked horns from time to time, he posted interesting reads. In the meantime Sun-Tzu is doing a great job filling in for him. Go Tzu!!! :-)

Draad there NEVER was any question of Draad being banned. I can recall three in cluding cc being banned. CC was the best behaved of the banned by some way.

Please dont invite hacked waaagh and JW as I suspect their manners would be atrocious! They seem slurp and burp types and would struggle in good company.

Talking of mean boils. When the wife & I went to Russia to see our new born grandson we stayed with our Russian in laws. My wife & I went to the local meat market & bought pork, goose & beef and veggies, garlic, bay leaves, etc. She put the pot on and boiled it all down. We removed the bones veggies to just retain the broth.  All the refuse was put in a container for the dogs. New veggies, etc. added to the broth to freshen it. This was for my daughter in law as she needed a mean boil, lol
We went to the country house with the in laws and my wife took out the dog food & went to have a nap. I went to the bath house, chopped wood & had a Russian sauna - running around in the snow is part of the procedure, the -20 degree temps were invigorating but not so good for your manhood if you know what I mean. We were naked of course.
The wife & I sat down for dinner & there as the center dish was the dog food. I tried to explain (I don't speak Russian & the in laws don't speak English) that this was dog food. We tried woof woof, cocking our legs & any other gesture we could think of. Needless to say they nodded with great sympathy & looked at each other like what the f... is wrong with crazy people. No choice, we had to bow to social pressure & ate the dog food (fat, gristle, bones & all).
The next day when we saw our daughter in law (she didn't come to the country house) she said her parents finally figured out what we were trying to tell them & were horrified. We all agreed not to mention this again, lol
So Beeno: be careful what you ask for, you might be better off with the veggies mate, lol

I've heard back from Alucard/Aristocrat....just a very short message to state that he's surprised that anyone would miss his abscence and he sends greetings to one and all.

He does pop in every so now and then to read the board when he has the time.

Sup Denny, I hope all is good bud !!

I have missed your presence on the other thread "Mole-spotting", care to respond?.

You know, you disputed what I claimed, and asked for an example, and I provided an example, (Or is it proof, lol, silly me), and now it's dead calm, and quiet.

Silence !!, as you so eloquently stated earlier in that same thread, when I didn't respond quickly enough to you, but respond I certainly did.

Be a good chap now and clear this up once and for all, or better yet, just say sorry so we can move on.

Thanks bud

Denny, is it just me or can you also hear that very faint yapping noise . . . almost like a very small, very distant and very angry little doggie jumping up and down and frantically yapping for your attention?

I heard it a few days ago, then it stopped but now it seems to be back again . . . there, listen . . . can you hear it? "Yap yap yap . . . grrrrr . . . yap yap yap yap yap . . ."

This, from the man who is supposed to be ignoring me.

What was it you said the other day about another poster here, "A man of his convictions", and all that.  Well join that group.

LMAO !!

Keep it up, you are doing a superb job of that Rooi

It is a straight forward, reasonable request to Denny, which should show a tiny bit of his true character, should he decide to respond to the proof I put forward, which he himself requested from me.

Im not positive but I think I may have surfed at Oakura or thereabouts? Does that make sense?  I spent a lot of my school holidays in Wanganui with my Granparents. On a clear day I could see both Ruapehu and Taranaki from their house. We'd occasionally drive up for lunch and a nosey. In my late teens I also used to travel to New Plymouth with some mates who were in various bands and would perform at the Mushroom Ball. As you can imagine my memories of NP are vague but mostly favourable.

Glad you enjoyed it Sasuke San, it's one of those few stories which is fun to tell & we even saw the humor in it at the time. Most often such experiences are only fun in retrospect.

Cloudy: Oakura bay looks like so many of the beautiful bays in NZ. I grew up in Titahi Bay . A joy to behold but would even be better with a few babes strolling along it.
