Yeah right Bakkies better than Etzebeth and Fourie better than JJ - no chance in hell, its not even close.
Meyer will fail with his motto

Nope Etzebeth will play 5 and Bakkies is better than Flip. Even Fury will be better than JJ.....couldn't be worse really.

So Moz, given JJ's display with ball in hand against NZ where you cannot argue against the fact that he beat Savea, Cruden and Smith in three separate passages of play.......what more are you expecting from a Bok 13 against the best side in the world and secondly do you honestly believe Fourie could have achieved those feats against NZ, come on man????
No Moz, Etzebeth is not moving to 5, Steph du Toit will be playing 5 with Eben retained at 4. Given Steph du Toits performance in the CC final, his test debut will be now.

Knowing our coach and his continuity mantra eben will be at 4 and flip at 5 for wales with psdt on the bench. Given the limited time bakkies will have with the squad i agree that he will impart knowledge. I dont agree with all of it, but at least HM is being consistent

I doubt Fourie and Bakkies will be part of the match 23.........Flip or PSDT will start. JJ will start with Serfontein on the bench.
Fourie and Bakkies may get bench duty against Scotland, but by France it will be Steph du Toit starting at 5 and Serfontein back on the bench with Bok incumbent JJ starting at 13 as he will in all three tests.
Why fix it if it aint broken......the only bits that need fixing are 15, 10 and 6........and some of the bench spots like fat Steenkamp

Mike you were crying foul in those tests that we were only throwing to eben at the front of the lineout. The customary position for a no.4. Beyond that when it comes to bakkies i was referring to the wales test. I agree with saffex regarding possible game time versus the scots

Snapster I thought I had made the position clear. Half wits like the bird brained bycy bogtrotter havent twigged yet but it is clear snapster the Boks are heading for the top - our traditional position of course.
One would have thought our team being the better in the last 3 of 4 tests played would have made this clear to them but they get confused by the vagueries of the scoreboard. Fortunately I am here to help them on that point.

Morne sucks ... he shouldn't be in the squad cause he can't tackle ... he stand too deep ... can't get his back line away ...
Nonsense ... he's the best 10 we have. He's tackling is fine and besides we need his pinpoint accuracy with tactical kicking and he's reliable with shots at the posts.
No he isn't .... yes he is ... no he isn't ... yes he is ... NO HE ISN'T ... YES HE IS ... !!!!!!
But ... but ... but the Ellis Park test ... blah blah blah ...
JJ sucks ... he shouldn't be in the squad cause he can't tackle ... we saw him fall apart at the Ellis Park test match ... blah blah blah ...
What a lot of crap ... he silenced his critics in the last test match against the All Blacks and is by far the best outside center on the planet. He makes me think of Danie Gerber. JJ IS HERE TO STAY.
No he isn't .... yes he is ... no he isn't ... yes he is ... NO HE ISN'T ... YES HE IS ... !!!!!!
Bringing all these geriatrics is ridiculous. We're going backward. We have awesome talent in PSDT and should move on from these old timers. We do not need Bakkies nor Victor back in the mix. Flip and PSDT are all we need.
Flip never played at 5 before. It's too much to ask of him.
Yes he did ... no he didn't ... yes he did ... no he didn't .. YES HE DID ... NO ERRRH OOOPSS ... yes your right ... he did ... my mistake.
No harm in trying Bakkies. He's at least a better 4 lock than Flip so lets give him a go.
No he isn't .... yes he is ... no he isn't ... yes he is ... NO HE ISN'T ... YES HE IS ... !!!!!!
Funny thing is we all complained about Du Preez ... and he shut our mouths by being better than what we had at 9. Problem would have been solved if Kockott was selected but that's a debate for another day ...
We haven't seen how Bakkies or Jaque Fourie perform ... but already judgement has fallen ... they're simply not good enough ...
We are going to listen to Mike and Stupid go on and on about this all friggin week long
YES ... NO ... YES ... NO ... YES ... NO ... !!!!!!!!!!!!!
How delightful.
I am going to crack myself if both these geriatrics play a blinder (if selected) ...
We've seen how these two back track, especially Stupid.
I think what I'll do is wait till I see them play ... then I reckon I'll have a fair idea of what they can offer us ... if it's better than what we currently have or if they should be cast aside.
A chance ... I will most definitely give them that.

Like I said ... ON AND ON AND ON ....
Listen up Fats ... I know your grateful for my input ... and I also know that your silly little pride gets in the way at times ... so not to worry ... I won't expect you to thank me on this site infront of everyone. It's my pleasure to assist you with a little clear thinking. I know it's difficult for you at the best of times.
Being a 115kg blob must surely be enough of an embarrassment already.
Sorry Mike ... I'm not in the mood to go round and round and round with you. You don't seem to have any issue with repeating your posts over and over again. I have much better things to do with my time than this ... like helping poor old Chubby Stupid out.
I'm sure you understand ...

Morne stands too deep? Is that Sannex's whole argument? Ha! Shows what he knows. I'd love to see you coach the Boks, or any team for that matter. What a clown.

Listen up poepol naaier ... don't cozy up to me ... I'm not your pal ... Ok?
You sort your issues with Stupid out yourself ...

what benefits are there for the Boks in bringing back older players???
it adds to the depth of the squad, as most of those players are in half decent form.
they can share their wealth of knowledge with those who are new or have begun their Bok journey very recently.
what are the negatives for the Boks in bringing back older players???
it stops the progress of the teams expansive game, as the older players really only know the 10 man rugby Bok way of life.
it slows the development of the current Bok young guns who need as much game time as possible to develop.
it takes up valuable spots in the squad which could be used on other players who deserve to be there, especially the young ones who will be representing the Boks in the future.
it shows players in SA, to stop wasting their time making two bit pocket change playing rugby in SA, when they can go overseas and make some real money and can still be picked for the Boks.
more reasons not to pick them IMO,
