Last I heard he was playing against a school under 12 team somewhere in the Free State to regain his form. Apparently his scrumming has shown some improvement.
It looks like he is unfortunately finished. Each injury he returns less of a player than what he originally was. He may have been the best loosehead in the world years back. More recently he looked like an unfit player off the mark struggling to keep up with play.
