It's so predictable, Clevermike and his ilk are shuffling chairs on the decks.....bring in Liggies Labuschagne, start Kriel and Kitshoff. But the latter two were on the park for considerable time yesterday and changed nothing.
In fact we had flavour of the day Jesse Kriel, Mapoe, Allende, Jantjies, Faf, Koch, Kitshoff, Lomp, Stephanie, Kriel, Mahoje and Whiteley.......all players the fans have howled for over the last 2 years.

So who were missing.... Senatla, Janse van Rensburg, the injured Vorster, the injured Lambie, Marx, Liggies.

And realistically Vorster is ordinary, Senatla has never been convincing at 15s, Lambie is toast, Liggies is provincial at best. That leaves two players....Marx and Janse who should be chosen. I'm all for that, but that's not going to change the outcomes for the rest of the RC.

We don't have a team that plays as a team. We don't have tactics. We don't have leadership......we have no idea what our relative competitive advantage is. And that's not just true for the 2 RC games....it's true for all 5 we have played this year.

In the pipe going down.....get Jake back.

When one reads the above one wonders about the sanity of the writer.   How can he come up with the rubbish he does spout without an proper evaluation of the situation.   His record over the last two years were constantly wrong - now he wants us to believe what he writes.

The most overrated flavour-of-the-day player who consistently fails to pitch up for the Springboks is Eben Etzebeth.
Having the excellent Pieter-Steph du Toit only coming off the bench is becoming a bit of a joke. His contribution in just half an hour is worth more than Lood and Abby Elizabeth combined.

Well it depends on who's favourites your referring to.
Yours would be Beast, Pienaar, Morne, Frans Steyn, Willem Alberts, Jannie Du Plessis, Victor Matfield and many other elderly folk like Jaque Fourie, Schalk Burger, JP Pietersen and Jean De Villiers.
It's early days yet ... one never knows who Coetzee will entice out of retirement for the remainder of the competition.

Nope those guys are gone we are left with all the supposedly great newbies who played yesterday....who don't have a chance of matching the records of all the great players you mention above. Still there's always your hero Maakniks Boshoff.

 Haaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaaa!!
Touched a nerve did I?
There, there, Mozart ... there really is no need to pout.
"great newbies" ... ?? I doubt there's many who would refer to them as that and yes "Maakniks" is absolutely a better rugby player than Skop Alles Weg Steyn.

You flatter yourself Carbuncle....just another naive plonker. Old Maakniks was so overwhelmed in the CC final he couldn't hit a barn door. And you were so sure he was the future Bok flyhalf.....hahaha. Dumbass.

"Carbuncle??"

Haaaaaaahahahahahahahaaa!!!
Now there's really no need to become personal, Mozart!!!
Perhaps the few bottles of red you've enjoyed with lunch has provoked an emotional outburst.
Now say your sorry!!!

The only newbies that looks like the real deal are Faf , Kitsie and Combrink.  Jury still out on Kriel and Warren W.
