We have see South Africa dominating the competition with last year the Sharks, Bulls Stormers and Cheetahs all in the top eight.
I have to say if these sides dont all make the top eight it will be a disappointment. It all show cases of course our amazing depth especially when you consider we could probably field at least 3 strong Super sides from the huge overseas contingent of SA players.
Our depth must be the envy of the the wee Kiwis and Ozzies.
But who might make the top 8 from these second rate rugby powers. I would back the wee chiefies and wee crusties to make the top 8 given the current loading system used in nz via central contracting.
Of the Ozzie sides its the Reds and possibly the brumbies although can they sustain the momentum with White gone (Jake - the coach who schooled Sir john and Sir graham).
Otherwise its about time the Warts had a good season.
As to a winner it has to be the Sharks. Barring injuries and bent down under refs of course.
