 Exactly Moz the Boks were very dominant. Their main problem was just one facit of the game - handling a greasy ball which they are not used to doing.I cant believe the gap between the wailing and moaning and performance I read about before I had watched the game.I do hope these cry babies will up their game its embarrasing to real rugby men. Their taking it out on the players and coach was disgraceful and had the kbbs rolling on the floor. Actually their going on were hilarious and embarassing at the same time 
When one says NH conditions are not favourable to the wee abs we must be more precise. They are actually comfiortable in the rain etc. What they are not comfotable with is the NH packs of forwrds in their better teams. Their qee pack tends to get bullied. That last penalty try when the Poms pack crunched them was hilarious! Hahhahahahaha
No if our stats had been the Ireland stats there would be much to be concerned about. Or if we had had the worst of the game for extended periods as the wee abs had against England B there would be much to be worried about.
So now we will see how SA B versus England B goes. I hope the guys are praactising with a we t ball etc.

 Yes Beeno the problem was one facet of the game, scoring.

 Claydog we didnt score because we dropped the ball. We dropped the ball because it was greasy.
Those are very good stats and when one evaluates the game one has to be realistic. How bad were the Boks. Pretty good for the most part. Certainly not deserving of the trashing they got from some of their cry baby  "supporters".

Surely some of the players who have toured the UK, or even played in Durban during the humid season will have some experience of a wet ball.
Additionally, why not dunk the ball in a bucket of water during practice prior to the tour.....

There wewre not many handling errors on Satuday - but the amount of dumb play was amazing.

The scoreboard tells us which team won. All other an--alysis is fine but when babbled from the mouths of babes (beeno) it is all post-game excuses.

The latest is the "greasy ball". As though the bok players had never played in the NH or similar conditions before. It had nothing to do with the pressure the Irish put on the boks - of course not.

 Lets be honest here in the heat of battle a number of oaks lost their composure and went on a wailing spree.

I agree there was some composure lost. This was particularly notable as much the same team was being hailed as heroes when they beat the ABs.

 
The All Blacks pitch up each match with attitude. They play with passion. This aids them in their approach. They are professional. Humble ... and they keep kicking as$.

We pitched up thinking we could chill because the win was already in the bag. Our attitude ... ??? ARROGANCE. 

We beat the All Blacks once in 50 years and now suddenly we're it.

29 - 15 later we come crashing to the ground and as usual it's everyone elses fault.

We lost the match.

We have a huge player base to select our squad of 30 from. How big is Ireland's player base in comparison? Probably smaller than the Golden Lions'.

The Bokke should by rights never lose to the likes of Ireland ... yet we find ourselves 4 - 2 down currently.

We get pushed to the wire by the Pumas, beaten by the Scots and Wallabies and have been more than lucky on a number of occasions against Wales.

This would be a national catastrophe in New Zealand. A day of mourning.

Here we're content to go along with mediocrity. That's what our society expects from us.

Look at Henpecked Beeno's attitude. Look at Mozart's They're happy go lucky. Everything is cool.

CC: most bok fans are overreacting IMO. It was a loss that should never have happened but ya can't throw the whole team out. The Boks better win against the Poms but it won't be easy.

Right on the money ABsque, these guys are professionals, a greasy ball should be nothing new. Ireland's rush defense stunned us, and even though we had more ball and possession, we were under big pressure whenever we were in possession. In my opinion, we were rushed into mistakes, and that was the difference between the two sides.

The kind of info above is meaningless - scoring of points detrmine the outcome,   First of all tries and conversions are a priority and after that follows penalties and frop goals. 
There was no real indications on Saturday that we could win against the Irish - despite the stats quoted above.     
If we playthe geriatrics nextt year - we have zero chance of coming up against the AB's.  The geriatrics infclude Matfield, Bakkies, De Villiers, Alberts and Jannie.
