Manie Libbok is poor on defence. His cover chase exposed his lack of pace.

Sharks were missing a few players, but the pack was easily outmuscled by the Bulls

Jake the Snake squeezes the life out of the Sharks.

Like a python, Jake White knows how to make the opposition play badly.

The Sharks pack was not good enough, and the backs were not really allowed into the game.

I do not like what happened in the games yesterday - it was more like trial matches with the team being replaced in its entirety,   Type of exhibition matches - defense was poor and ball retention worse,  This is not real rugby and nobody would  be wiser about players after the display in both matches,

Jake White showed once again that he is a good coach. His teams appear to understand the game plan, and what they need to do.Hopefully the Bulls plan to use their backs more often, and Chris Roussouw is a decent backline coach

For the Bulls, Erasmus at hooker impressed as did Nyakane, Jenkins, Arno Botha, van Zyl, Gans and Ismiel. Even useless Morne had a solid game For the Sharks, Bosch’s tentativeness in contact cost them an early try. Ox, Ruben v Heerden, Notshe, Nohamba, Am and Marius Louw. What the hell Ward a 13 did starting ahead of Louw at 12 is beyond me. Not much can be read into those games as they were practice matches but it was good seeing the players in action again
