His opinion regarding Erasmus's sending of 14 Boks as an advance party to Wellington as a smart move was fine and then he started having a go at Barrett's willing him to miss kicks and wilt under pressure - What's that all about? Tactless.
White with his usual lack of Tact and Grace

Nice to see you making comments again. I did not see the White comments on the Springboks previously - but Erasmus was under vicious attack by Mozart and co for splitting the team in the way he did.
Erasmus wanted to see two things, namely -
* how some players reacted after fairly long injury absences and those players were all used against the Aussies; and
* what back up players are available for him to choose from in the upcoming WC.
Some of the latter category of players failed badly others did not.
As to White's comments on Barrett's kicking at goal one must admit he is childish.
Getting back to the game on Saturday - I think it will be a humdinger with a narrow win to the team that gets the lucky breaks needed for a win. The Springbok team will be stronger than the one who played the AB in Wellington last year. But so will the AB's be with Whitelock back at lock and Rieko Ioane on the wing. Jordie Barrett is a bad joke and should not be anyw1here near the AB team. I would also like to see Akira Ioane around even ahead of Read - who showed signs in the SR series that he is way past his best.
I must admit I was not overly impressed by the performance of the AB's against the Argentinians on Saturday - bit still think they could win with home town advantage against the Springboks - but would they? .

I agree with you Mike about Jordie Barrett. He is too flakey for me. He is riding the tailcoats of his talented brothers and he gives this air of entitlement the way he struts around the field. Who could forget the brain snap he had last year against the Boks when he wildly threw a quick line out which somehow landed in Le Roux hands who headed straight for the try line. After that we started playing catch up. But look Mike, if a certain Donald could win the 2011 RWC for the All Blacks there is hope for Jordie
You can't fault Jake in any of his observations.
When the pressure is on one can hear Bar rats knees knocking!
Hacked Waugh I had harbored hopes you might be the one sensible kiwi after JW fell apart but one is invariably disappointed by the KBBS.
'Tact and grace'.....hardly the attributes I'd be looking for in my WC coach. Jake a WC winner....I'll leave the tact and grace to Raelene Castle.
Well said...
Jake outcoached Eddie, leading to him being fired. No, Eddie joined the party just in time for a selfie with the legend himself.
Eddie did not outcoach Jake, he was co-opted to coach the Bok backline something the useless quota coach Coetzee was incapable of doing.
Why is that so difficult to understand.
Barret is not a test standard pole kicker.
He has his days when he is good, but he is not consistent enough. The All Black game plan is to score more tries than the opposition- but if that does not happen, would you bet your house on him in a knock out match?
