No debate please - I am a  Sharks supporter.  However, there are two players in the Sharks team whose playing styles I do not like - and they are Willem Alberts and Francois Steyn.   Both are to my mind denograting the performances of the Sharks - the one by not being able to fulfil most of the loosie functions and the other for killing backline play.  We can do better without them.
Otherwise - I am a full supporter of the Sharks - 
*    I resided in Durban between 1974 and 2000; and*    has since been residing in a hamlet near Ballito
so  I have to be!!!!!!    

Then we are going to fight long and hard during the next season because I rate them both.
Are there any hamlets left in the Ballito area? The whole place is growing at a rapid pace.

 Without question but it's always been a hard road...not easy being a Sharkie man...a lot of pain and disappointments but it has had it's moments of glory...they are sometimes rather like the Les Bleus...huge let downs but at times phenominal and giant killers. They are overall an exciting bunch of players. Always supported them even in the old days of Natal...the best accolade was the start when they cracked the Currie Cup at Loftus...after that came the glory years of Ian Mac...players I remember, Gary Teichmann,Thierry La Croix, Henry Honiball,Pieter Muller, Jeremy Thomson,Tony Watson,Tommy Bedford, Keith Oxlee, Andre Joubert,Ollie Le Roux, Steve Atherton, Andy Aitken, Dickie Muir, Rudie Visagie, Andre Botha, Wahl Baartman,Wynand Claasen and many others.
