very simple, trying to match some of the IDs on here and their spXV team,some are obvious, but others arent and reading their posts, sometimes dosent give a clear indication.

my team is the hurricanes, so please save the taunts, i hear enough of it from my own countrymen, lol.

I support the Sharks and put money on them to win against the Reds - not much more like $30 and I stand to win $180 - so its clear - where my support lies.   However, the Re-Uibnion program - after whibnging for 30 minutes about tries scored and not scored, said they think the Reds will win - because Lambie and Steyn are not playing, They have been wrong many times - and I think they will be again - mind you it was a split decision and nothing was said about Cooper not playing.   A lot was said about the tackle and it was brutal - to say the least.

The other side I alaways support is the Stormers - but if they play the Sharks I remain a Shark supporter,

Not like some of the members on this Board that scream support - but they do not put their money where their mouth is - I do.

@clevermike,

i dont get to watch reunion, unless i get it offline, but i am guessing they are reffering to some dubious calls on the weekend via the TMO.
i really rate the reds especially at suncorp and i think they will do quite a number on the shraks, travel, homecrowd, number of player missing all stack up in the reds favour, but i can understand u backing ur boys.

im off to watch the dark knight rises on imax tomorrow and i will placing a multibet myself, $50 or 400 rand on the crusaders and sharks to win their matches by 12+, dont know what the odds are yet, but im also placing another muti bet tomorrow as well, $10 for the crusaders and reds to win, then a carryover where the crusaders to beat the stormers and chiefs to beat the reds and then the crusadesrs to win the title,,,might make three mutis, one with the following scenario but the cheifs to win their maiden title. :)

Sasu

You really are an optimist.    Lets work out the odds on that one.   The Reds-Crusader Double would work out at 20/1   That leaves you with $1000 to carry to the next bet.   $1000 on the Stomer- Crusader game would mean that your carry-over will be $1800 to the Stormers game and your carry-over to the Chiefs-Reds game will mean a bet of $4000 on the final - you will likely end up with $10 000 to $12 000 -ie odds of about 50/1 to 60/1.   If you really want to make a killing - add to that one that Gavin Lerena will win the Jocky Championship in South Africa ending in two weeks time and your gain would be $30 000.

Break a leg, but I think you are going to stumble on Saturday.   Don't think the Reds can win by 12+ - I think they are going to lose.    Even the Crusader game may not produce that kind of margin.

Lerena is at the moment 3 races up in the Championship and he is fancied to ride another two winners today - his nearest opponent is not riding today.   That leaves him 5 races up - so the chances are going to go his way.   Odds on him winning the champiosnhip is 12/10.

In any event - I never bet on anything.   I just invest in certainties - so take my word for it.:0

@clevermike,

errrrr the $50 is a one off, a straight out win for the crusaders and the reds to win their ,matches by 12+.

my other two bets are ony $10 a pop, and are straight out head to heads, crusaders and reds to win, then chiefs and crusaders to win, then one each to cover my predicted all NZ final with one for the chiefs and the other for the crusaders.

im not a big gambler, but i like to place the occasional multi bet most weeks when im down at the pup, usually no more then $20 bucks and only on sports cos watching horses race is a about as exciting as watching australian spXV darbies.
my $50 best is outside the norm and after reading some of the comments here, i have to admit im having a lot of second thoughts about the reds, LMAO. but im gonna stick by it, the logic in my reasoning is sound, but then again that logic has let me down so many times, LMAO, :)

Sasu - a striaght bet to win by 12+ will give you odds of 20/1.

However, there is one thing to look out for on Saturday in the Reds-Sharks game.   Watch out for Jordaan at 13 - he is going to cause serious problems for the Reds - star of the future that one.

 Super rugby - Stormers, then any other South African Team, the underdog.

Currie Cup - Western province, the underdog

Championship - South Africa - used to not support anyone else, now i will Support Argetina except if they play against South Africa :), the underdog

World- South Africa, any other southern Hemisphere team playing against a northern Hemisphere team, The undrdog.

Does that explain my support clear enough? :)

My name kinda says it all, but I like Ek's explanation, except replace Stormers & Western Province with the Bulls.

I'll add to mine from EK's explanation. Since I like it so much.

Currie cup - Western Province

Championship - South Africa

World - Canada / South Africa. If they play, it's obviously Canada.

...reds... then rebels in SXV. SA team - dont mind Sharks / Cheetahs  - mainly because I am a fan of bismark and brussouw respectively.

I actually like the hurricanes now for top kiwi team especially since they got rid of piri (I ate all the pies) weepoo and nonu. Conrad Smith is a class act.

 Last place is the perennial cheats the crusaders.... I admire some of their players but their cheating tactics and whinging if they dont get it their way have made them my no 1 disliked team....

Internationally - Wallabies... of course... then pacific island teams... Fiji / Samoa... I think these teams could be first class if ABs didnt consistently take all their best talent.

Sasu

Hope I did not put you off a winning bet - I thnik you can invest your money better and will advise you when and how.   Lets say you take the Crusaders to win by 12+ points - the Bulls are poor up front and bet on the cup winners to be the Chiefs or Crusaders.   Much safer bet that one - as you may notice I do not really rate the Stormers as potential cup winners.

Redsman

Insofar as SA teams are concerned - I support the Sharks, then the Stormers and thereafter any team, but the Bulls - long history attached to the last one.   However, I would never support the Pukers - so the Bulls may move up one notch in my estimation..

Australia - the Reds (like their style of play) and thereafter the Rebels (after all they beat the Crusaders and never stopped cheering them in that game).   As Sasu said that was the joke of the century.

New Zealand - I have a sneaking regrad for the Hurricanes and the Highlanders - guess who I supported in the two games of the Hurricanes?    The cheating bleating Crusdaders  is last in my list of support.   They would have to watch out tomorrow - the referee will not be intimidated by Mr Big and he may find himself in trouble if he tries his tricks.     However, the Crusaders are playing the SA team with the worst forwards - so they will win - but for potential penalties because of back chat and illegal tactics in the maul situation.`

@clevermike,

nah u didnt put me off, not completely anyway, ended up just putting $25 multibet for the crusaders and reds to win by 13+, it was only paying $6.25 though so hopefully i got a $125 and change tomorrow.
i also dont rate the stormers chances, i think both the chiefs and crusaders have a massive chance of beating
them in newlands and TBH i would also rate the sharks and reds chances too. their defense first mentality will fall short to the attacking prowess of those teams mentioned.
