Let me start with the Sharks team - before today Robert du Preez was the second best performing flyhalf in SA after Willemse. However, his performance today was sub-par and his management of ball as the backline pivot was very poor as well.
The whole backline went downwards and on that display none of the backline players should be considered for selection.
Matter of fact that only Shark player - not been flashy but doing a lot of donkey work was Jean-Luc du Preez.
On the Bulls side Pollard looked good - perfect he was not. Any flyhalf who miss penalty line kicks should in my books never o be in the Springbok team and Pollards first penalty line kick did not find touch. If he is selected as flyhalf - he should be given a blackboard to write a hundred times - "I promise that I will never fail to find touch with a penalty line kick" and then send him onto the field and let him practice that for three hours, The other players who looked good was Gelant, De Jager and Schoeman while Van Zyl playing in poor conditions provided a go od service to he backline and when he did kick the kicks were accurate and effective,
