To me Joel is the best of a very poor bunch. I cant say any of them are any good.  I will exclude the Afrikaans commentators from my comment as I dont listen to them. Should think of changing that as even if I only understand half of what they say i could be better off.

 The most useless is Andy Capastino. I would not let him wash my car such is his incompetence.

Bean Brain i find the mute button on the remote very effective whenever some yarpy commentator opens his mouth. Although the Dutch accents can be a source of much hilarity to us Kiwis...

Still a little rough around the edges and awkward but a lot better than when he started. I like the way he calls out the refs as well as players. Doesn't sugar coat it

 They are all poor, but Bob is the best of that lot. I dont mind Andy Cap........Hugh Bladen is awful
