Saffex

Could not find much on the internet about him - other than some very vague reports.   In which position does he play?

Hammond was originally in the squad and then pulled out just before the comp started. He was replaced by Rhule, the kid that performed so well on Sunday night. Hammond is a wing. I dont know much about him, big physical lad though

All I cpould gather is that his nickname is "Pig" .   I think that if Jordaan is out - they will probably play Hammond on the wing and Van Wyk in the center position - I would retain Rhule - he really was brillaint on Sunday.

Mbovane and Rhule will start as the wings I reckon with v/Wyk at centre

Mbovane did nothing in the Argentine game - hope they start with the replacements - since they were first choice selections anyway.   However, Jordaan may yert play.

Seriously Mike. Mbovane hasn't done anything wrong. He had some good runs, was very good on the support and pressure although he didn't score he had a good game plus on the Contrary, Rhule had one good game against Argentina. Have you forgotten the shocker he had against Ireland , He is usefull on the attack and defense, but nowhere under the high ball.

A straight choice between Rhule and Mbovane and my choice would be Rhule - despite the problems he had under two high balls in the Irish game.   He did not contribute to the loss of the game against the irish - that was done by griessel and Jantjies on their own.   They brought on the two against the Argentinnians and they were bad again.

Mike there ain't much to choose between the two of them. Mbovane is the more slippery runner though. I remember scenes from the sevens circuit. Mbovane also scored a really impressive hattrick against the Irish in our final game last year. The kid is slippery really slippery and has gas to boot. you will make a mistake if you leave him out. I would still play both however i have not seen enough to convince me that Rhule will be safe under the high ball.

It rarely happens that a good Sevens Player nmakes a good 15 on  international level.   I am not convinced that Mbovane would be any good in the Final - he got in a few runs - but did not make much jards in the process.    I really believe he is too small to play on the level required in the Final in this case.
