I think I am the oldest member around, It is not a secret at all - I am 72 yeasr of age. I have retired when I was 70 years old. The problm age brings is the inability to adjust to modern times - I am not suffering from that as yet.

Your recollectionsare as bad as your knowedge of rugby is. I neever said i was youngerthan you.
20 Oct 2014, 09:06#14
I'm impressed, Mike!!!
Pretty sharp at 72. Thought you were at least 10 years younger.
Mozart on the other hand comes across as one in his late eighties. Sort of semi senile. Kinda dozy ... not quite all there most of the time.
Blue ... you're a friggin snotkoppie ... barely past puberty.
20 Oct 2014, 11:13#17
A donkey, huh?
You really mustn't be so rough on yourself, Blue.
20 Oct 2014, 13:18#18

Nice one Chippo! "Not gonna have a forum in a year or two"
I really had no idea how old some of the guys here were. Thought it was a bunch of young IT types.
Respect Mike and Moz!!

Hey Blue ... that's "Oom Mozart" and "Oom Mike" to you ...
Now before you go calling yourself a "donkey" again, I am merely pointing out that it's traditionally polite, being Afri- kaans and all to do so ... right?

If my family is borne in mind - you will have to wait quite a few years for that happy event to occur. My father died at 91 - his one cousin at 109 - my grandfathers - both 89 - my grandmothers 88 and 84. So be patient - I am likely to be a thorn in your side for quite a few more years .

Fo- kkit ... that's another 20 years plus of listening to him tell us how slow and useless Fat Alberts is.
I don't know how I'm gonna endure that.

Too true Clean. Jammer oom Mike!

Aaaaaaah!!!!! ... just the thought of Lara and those "guns" already make me feel better.
"Sigh!!!!"
Thank God for Lara ... and her "guns"!!
Regarding your age, Lara ... it's 2014 ... I'm sure you'll be able to find a good quality push up ... errrrrh ... "holster" ... for those "guns" .... right??
20 Oct 2014, 14:51#28
LOl @ Cloudy. So your boobs give you a nice warm feeling in your chest...cos one is hanging in your porridge and the other in your coffee!
20 Oct 2014, 15:17#29
Haaaaaaaaahahahahahahahaaa!!!
Blue ... you twit ... I was referring to her guns ... friggin pervert!!
Forgive him, Lara. The loss of his side to Province this past weekend has him under a lot of strain. There's a lot of Province supporters giving him the once over today. He's not himself today.
On the hip huh? Hmmmmm??
Funny ... I have an image of a rather perky pair ... of guns that is.
20 Oct 2014, 15:37#30
Uh yes, that's it, my common perversions are all the fault of the bloody Bulls! Look, they were so poor this season I was genuinely shocked that they actually made it to the semi's in the first place. Still, they put in a better show than the Sharks!
Cloudy, just in case you take me seriously, don't, I can't even take myself seriously most of the time!!
Clean, just for interest sake, who do you support?
20 Oct 2014, 16:20#31
Huh???
The Lionsssssssssssssssssssss!!!!
Who else??
You kidding me!!!
I've been verbally abused for the last two decades because of them.
Now I'm hoping for a little payback!!
Thumping the Sharks gave me immense pleasure.
Now it's time for the friggin Stompies!!

Uh oh, so you think you have been abused because you are a Lions fan? Now that's funny.
20 Oct 2014, 16:41#33
Clean, the Bulls are always public enemy number one! It is the Bulls fault there is ten man rugby. Any selection mistake Meyer has made since taking over, is because he used to be Bulls coach and his "loyalty" to the BULLS! Spies! Matfield! NAAS BOTHA!!!! And on top of that, we have won the Super Rugby trophy 3 times, so you can throw in a little envy too! Nope, Bulls are the most hated union, and apparently, they have never deserved any trophy they have won....EVER!!!
Having said all that, Lions are my number 2 and I hope they break a bunch of Province hearts in the final!
21 Oct 2014, 01:16#34
Cloudy...is it Series 2 ? If so, I just watched the second episode I will say nothing in case you aren't up to date and I don't want to spoil things !!
Oh, by the way....I might well be a lady of sorts, but I don't care who knows my age. I'm 40. Will be 41 in a few weeks...I expect flowers, balloons, gifts etc, CC !!
21 Oct 2014, 09:00#35
Blue ... the Bulls are the most hated because of their success rate. That and many arrogant fans which stands to reason. Who wouldn't be arrogant if you keep cleaning up?
They are the most successful franchise in our countries history.
To be quite honest ... I'm was a little more nervous facing the Bulls in a final than Province. Not that I'm writing Province off ... it's just the Bulls have an uncanny knack of winning finals ... at least with Province we have a very good shot at bringing the trophy home to Ellis Park.
Next season you guys will have the likes of Trevor, Strauss and Marcell as a front row ... with Lappies, Arno Botha, Du Plessis and Stegman at 6 ... Pollard with HouGat as your half pair and a frightening center combination of Odendaal & Serfontein with another awesome talent in William Small Smith sitting on the bench ... then throw Kriel into the mix.
The Bulls will be a major threat next year.
All you need now is to get rid of your useless coach and all hell will break loose. We need Bulls rugby to be strong. Just a smidge weaker than the Lions ... of course ... but strong none the less.
21 Oct 2014, 09:19#36
Mozart ... I presume your little dig implies that you classify yourself as an abuser ... right? One of the top dogs round these parts, telling everyone how it is ... right?
Hmmmmmm??? ... Sorry to burst your bubble bud, but quite frankly, you need a lot of work.
An irritation??? I suppose ... not really much of that either I'm afraid.
Just a meaningless, ignorant poster no longer capable of contributing anything of substance.
But hey!!!!!! if it makes your day a little better ... if it makes you believe you have something to offer society ... then why the hell not!!
Enjoy!!

Crikey, CC...it's not often I get called young these days !
21 Oct 2014, 12:52#39
At 40 ... ??? Come now ... !! You're a spring chicken. A few years this side of puberty.
It's not only the physical body that ages but one's attitude to life as well.
Look at Mozart ... he's only 67 but sounds and behaves like one deep in his eighties.
I remember suggesting he take his lover to the beach for a good roggering. He was shocked. Not sure if it's due to his member suffering from the dreaded droop or if he just prefers to be ... old.
Not for me.
I know of ladies in their mid fifties who suddenly go out and have their hair cut grandma style. Beckoning old age.
I know others the same age who attack life with vigor. There's a youthfulness about them and you can see it physically manifest itself on their person.
I love it.

"Look at Mozart ... he's only 67 but sounds and behaves like one deep in his eighties."
Actually, Moffie only sounds like a doddering old fool when he tries to talk about rugby. He behaves more like a spiteful little 6 year old child most times.
