To me it has to be Faf De Klerk. This guy is an instinctive scrummie, a natural ball player with plenty plenty of zip!

Reinach- talented but how good is his head. Sarel also very good and underrated. Hougaard an enigma.

Hougaard isn't an enigma...he is a mess. Even in last weeks game where he supposedly improved....it was mostly when they moved him to wing. He bungled often at the base and passed along the ground a few times. So far Faf has been the most dynamic, but I think Reinach has test potential.

In terms of athletic abilty Reinach is outstanding. Some of his kicks are pointless.
Sarel also is a constant menace. Hougaard was a bit better but is not a natural scrummie

on form its faf de klerk.

cobius reinach has had an awesome season, but it helps the whole team are full of stars who are pulling their weight.

faf is in the lions, and while they are all pulling their weight too, they dont have the same high profile players.

hougaard isnt the form 9, but he would still be my Boks 9 as he is the only half in SA who has the necessary skill set to execute the only plan which will help achieve good consistent results against the All Blacks.

but meyers going to stick with the general du preez no matter what, and thats great news for the All Blacks, :o)

Sushi thinks sticking with a world class scrummie like Du Preez vs choosing an exposed nerve end like Hougaard helps the ABs. I think he's  had another bad shrimp.

It is a pity that Reinacj has to ple behnd a scrum where he has no protection from a certain lazy loosie.   Ge suffered again tonight for the same reason - poor guy that one.

Mozart: there are a lot of (mental) shrimps on here I know but it is a bit harsh saying they are bad. They are your fellow country-men after all.

In fact the best half back pair is Fafa and Marniz. Marnitz on this form is by some way the best flyhalf.JW kiwis are n ot shrimps they are bird brains.

Beeno: now how did we all know we would hear from you as soon as the conversation was on mental shrimps, surely this is not coincidence.

Don't mention the name Sarel Pretorius in the Bok equation, he was awful against the Hurricanes.

Hasbeeno, from what I saw this morning, the best scrummie in SA at present is the replacement for the Blues, Bryn Hall!
