If Damian is exposed again? I hear a lot of people calling out Meyer, and I do think he is culpable for selecting obviously inadequate players, but I don't see many people holding these same players to any kind of standard. Damian cost us a win in Australia. Not one journalist, player, coach or commentator mentioned it in SA. Instead we saw him given a pass just because they feel like he is good. If Damian folds again, who will be to blame for that? Like it or not Meyer has yet again given you all what you wanted, just as he did last week when he gave Lambie the reigns. This has always ended in tragedy. If Damian folds again he, along with Lambie, must be discarded . Meyer cannot make a flawed player be a good one and too often we have these weak, technically flawed passive types who haven't the heart to stand up and fight.

A flawed mind writing BS on the site all the time - all because Vrot Fransie is not their to lose games anymore. Gransie will never be back in the Springbok Jersey so you may at well accept that.

Meyer will be to blame for not giving hime enough game time to be sharp.

Enough game time? Damian has played a lot of rugby. On top of that he is supposed to be the best. Frans played his first game at 12 against Samoa in a WC where they had us on the ropes. When he came off the bench, we were camped in our 22 and he immediately sparked a breakout that set JP free down the touchline. He was the catalyst for our WC run. Now Damian is supposed to be better, so why are you reaching for excuses?
Beeno, reference one time Damian carried the ball up successfully. Reference one time Damian created space for anyone. Reference one time his attacking forays weren't the result of him being put in space. You won't be able to, because it didn't happen. Why do you take the stance you do?

De Allende is the best young backline player arisen in SA the last years, by far.
With the SA structures failing in producing quality backline players, de Allende has been the exception, one of the very few with the potential to outstand at test level . He's been, alongside Nonu and Samu Kerevi, the inform centers of the SR comp.
Yes, he's still young and has many aspects of his game to improve, the most important IMO the defense, but stating, as DF did, that "If Damian folds again he, along with Lambie, must be discarded for good".
This is crazy, man. He's one of the few with the skills to play tests.
Nonu at the beginning also had many flaws in his game, btwin others his defense and passing, but it could be seen that he had the potential and with the years and a good management he became one of the most capped centers ( if not the most) and one of the best centers at test level.

The Fransie of 2007 is long gone. The 2015 model is tired and his knee is busted. Still a good player, but a shadow of what he was. A wasted career due to the choices he made. Damian never got the opportunity to start from the bench for the Boks in his favoured position. He was thrown into the deep end, starting at 13 against better opposition, playing in Argie.

The 2015 version was our best 12. Damian hasn't been close to being even passable. Looks like a wing playing out of position. Damian got dumped because he got burned against Argentina in what is his better position. Frans started wing, played fullback and then played his first ever game at 12 against Samoa. Great players find a way to contribute, and Damian is contributing a big bad zero!

Watched the video agan, hey Safdy? Or are you going to call that a fabrication like the Lambie video? You pick out quotes that suit you but when the very same people you quote say something you don't like you attack them! Hilarious!

Damian has never dropped us before so don't worry about it.
The man just get's better and better every test he plays.
Pure class.
He is one of only a few good selections Meyer has made recently.
