Some of the ex-AB greats are saying Roger Tuiasa-Sheck should start others are saying that Jordie Barrett has played the position and he should start. I think Foster will split the time between the two as he wants to give them both experience and he also wants to win the game. So, JB to start and RTS to finish. What do you think?

I didn't realise the current centre was injured.

Jordie Barret could be a very good inside centre. He is tall and strong on his feet which lets him offload well in the tackle well.
He should be a good playmaker from the midfield. He is also useful for carrying the ball up.

If Moo-Unga is now favoured to start at 10, that would bring Beauden onto the pitch at XV

Yes, If JB plays at 12 BB will probably be moved to FB. Two of our 12s were injured in the last game, one with concussion and one with a blown out knee.

What's happened to you, SharkShit?

You seem to be making a lot more sense these days.

A new missus? You've given up weed?

Keep it up.

Yes ... I agree ... Jordie would make an excellent 12.

He's a solid defender ... can create something from nothing ... distributes well ... has good pace ... AND ... has an educated boot.

A kicking option at12 is always a good thing in my opinion.

Dane Carter started there before moving on to 10.

As SharkShit said ... it brings Beady into the starting mix.

One needs your best players on the park for as long as possible.

I think he could make that position his own quite easily.

For the sake of the AB's I hope they win the next test and with the idiocy spread on this site by the by supposed SA replacements  the SA team will lose on Saturday against the Argentinians the Springboks will lose the match in Durban - similar to what happened in Durban in 2015 - and hand the AB's the RC trophy on a plate.

I myself has doubts about the Barrett family players.   They are good playing against weak opposition - but I am afraid the opposition is getting stronger and is not the all-conquering team  they used to be in the 2011 to 2017 period.

Latest articles in NZ papers lean towards starting YB. There is speculation that Cane won't play this weekend because of concussion concerns. We may see Savea at 7 but my guess is they will want to give others some playing time, probably DP will get some time. There is speculation that Scott Barret will play lock with Jaws on the bench and Frizzell at 6. Foster will have to balance winning the game with giving players some game time. Will be interesting to see what he decides.

I think Rodger should get the chance to start, with Jordie coming of the bench.....I like the way he plays, strong runner and Solid in defence....reminds me a bit of SBW.

"What about Beauden at 12 he could make a brilliant 12 given his creativity"

I've been punting him there (@12) for a while, but apparently he's too sma for a 12 in New Zealand...can't believe they'd rather put him on the bench these days...

Beauden is too small for inside centre . An inside centre has to make more front-on tackles than any player on the pitch.

I can’t see BB playing 12 unless it was an emergency. RTV still looks like he’s still learning the game based on what I saw in the Tasman vs Auckland game so he may get game time but I don’t think he should start.

At 92kg and the fact that he is tough means he would work at 12 but I guess at 31 it’s too late to change things

Well Foster was almost forced to start JB at 12 and what a result. A much improved performance at that position, tackling, kicking, meters gained putting players in space. It was only one game but looking good!

JB was bloody good, shows how poor fozzie is as a coach as he was only forced by injury to play him there.

Best game he has played in black.

I am sure fozzie will try to claim he always wanted him there which is bs

Ha ha Cruz, y es, Fozzie will probably say that we were groomed him for 12 and only played him when he was ready - just like good coaches, lol
