13 - Paul Jordaan (Sharks):
A member of the South African Under-20 squad, this rookie showed maturity well beyond his years. His Sevens skills and pace also came to the fore.
Bubbling under: Robert Ebersohn (Cheetahs)

12 - Jean de Villiers (Stormers):
Another step towards the Springbok captaincy perhaps? No doubt that he is putting his hand up.
Bubbling under: Ryan Crotty (Crusaders

So young Jordaan deservedly makes it.....but wot!!!!!.......no Taute bubbling under. Robert Ebersohn is recognized.

And at number 12 Jean appears again!

The Sappster is going to have a conniption!

Sorry but that is a complete joke. Ebersohn got owned in a big way and comfirmed in no uncertain terms that he could never play inetrnational centre unless of course getting bounced as he was by JP is the norm for a test 13.

As for Jean making the 12 spot, kindly point out one single positive thing Jean did on the weekend that merits him being the best 12 of the weekend?

Dont get me wrong, I am a Jean fan - but he has done squat for some time now - he is past it.

Funny no mention of Jean at 12, Moffie - Planet rugby

13 Paul Jordann (Sharks) - Fifteen tackles jumped out from the statistics in Bloemfontein as that is high for an outside centre. Jordann's dual with Robert Ebersohn excited but for his many running metres, Jordann edged that battle and ultimately the scrap for his PR spot.

12 Ryan Crotty (Crusaders) - Todd Blackadder's early-week rant at his squad obviously worked as the men from Christchurch were a different team to the one that lost out in Melbourne. One reason was the directness that the recalled Crotty brought outside DC.

But while we look at your Rugby 365, lets just add:

11 - Lwazi Mvovo (Sharks):
He has regained that devastating finishing ability, while his workrate is also improving.

Bubbling under: Julian Savea (Hurricanes)

And at 8 we have Spies bubbling under - yes the mighty Spies

and then we have 13.Jordaan 12.Taute (out of position) in Jan de Konnings side of the week - not bad for this non entity? Am with de Konning here, Taute was certainly better than Jean, who did stuff all

Dave that Planet Rugby Team doesn't even include Etzebeth, nor Mvovo, nor Spies. So stop cherry picking.

I'd go with the Rugby 365 team. We can either believe the experts who watch and report on rugby.....or the guy who thought Murray should be on the Bok bench.

Moz I'll go with what I saw this weekend. Jean did nothing, Taute was better.

I have never had Murray on my Bok bench, Murray was always my back-up to Fourie. I backed Murray over hopeless options like Adi.

In the days Murray was in contention, Jean was my 12, Fourie was my 13, with Olivier on the bench.

I'm not cherry picking, just pointing out that Spies was the best SA 8 of the weekend as I said, as he has been for the past few weeks and I was also pointing out that Taute got a vote at 12 despite not being a 12, he got the same votes as Crotty.

Have to agree that its complete madness that any selector would leave Etzebeth out of their side this week
