Why are the Kings wearing the colours of black?

 Firstly they have stolen the Sharks colours, and the Sharks had to play in White.

Perhaps they Kings strip is meant to represent transformation

 Maybe it wasn't the Sharks they were imitating - there is another famous team that wears black that other teams such as the French and the Poms have tried to imitate.

 I dont think they are trying to imitate the AB's Hakwa..Their pack is too big to play like the wee AB's ;-) Half time in the Blues v Bulls match and the Bulle are doing what the Crusaders and Hurricanes couldn't and making it look easy along the way..

Has the power shifted? Is the SA conference now the hardest in the competition. Kiwi's like to think its the NZL conference is but im not so sure hey. Maybe its an illusion that the SA teams are playing badly this year. Maybe the competition is just really fierce in our conference. We seem to be klapping the kiwi's around a bit ;-)
