dump the rush defence which worked so well for them in 2007? It doesn't make sense when the opposition gets over the gain line with relative ease, using the rush defence they were stopped in their tracks.

Well no....the AB's have stuck with it and mastered the art of line speed. When it works it's been proven to nullify attacks in it's track.
