Strauss was so poor on Saturday - he probably is too ashamed to open his mouth.

Just an observation HasBeen, Whiteley seems to be the team spokesman....one would think he needs to consolidate his position, conversely one would assume Strauss would be stepping into his role.

Whiteley seems to work well for the Lions as #8 player and as spokesman while the same can not be said from Strauss as spokesman for the Bulls. That would also be an investment into the future for the Boks on the captain issue.Move Vermeulen to the bench and promote Jaco Kriel directly to 6 with PSdT at 7 and Redelinghuys directly into the front row with Beast. Eben and Stander at lock.Bench forwards: Malherbe, Nyakane, Lood, Kolisie, Flo, Vermeulen

Blikkies I have always been sceptical about PSDT as a lock. On Saturday he lost another lineout in his short stay....on the other hand he made what could have been a crucial intercept. To me the things he does well look more like 7 functions.
