Lets face facts - Mozart was screaming blue murder when Graeme Smith and Kallis departed from the cricket scene and swore we are going to go down without them.  The exact opposite happened - we are starting to win matches and series without them.

This type of thing shows that to keep players past their sell-by date - irrespective of how good they have been in the past - is a crazy notion of the retarded.   The same notion applies in all codes of sport = don't play players based on their reputation - play them if they perform

Lets face facts - the best move the SA team made was to replace Graeme Smith with Quinton de Kock.  It took De Kock 21 matches to make more than 1 000 runs in ODI's.  He was a year younger than Kallis was when he did the same and he even did it in fewer games than Viv Richards did it many years ago - the latter took 23 games to reach that target

The only players of SA that featured in that list of top ten players were Kallis and Amla - the latter featured at no 9 on the list.

December 16, 2013, 01:37:43 Play him. I watched some tapes again today....this kid's timing is superb

My problem was and still is with De Kock as an opening test batsman. But never mind OOm, you remain a moron, for the simple reason that you are a moron.

De kick as an opening test bat could not do worse than Petersen the current opener. The fact that De kick is going to keep for us in the tests means he will never open. His spot should be 5 behind amla and AB. I am not sure what the hell AB is doing down at 5, it's ma dness

You've never liked Graeme Smith even when he was playing well, I also recall your dislike of Fourie Du Preez after you'd watched him in a game at Twickers. I clearly remember your unbelievable dislike after reading several posts of yours on the subject.

So shut the hell up.

ClevarMika, im no cricket whiz but i can say mozart has beaten your sorry carcass from pillar to post when it comes to rugby. it makes sense then youd choose another sport yo try and gain a single victory tally but it wouldnt surprise me if you drown in egg again. i guess you just really like omellettes! but you can always resort to lying or teklling them they are stoopidz, coz that always works as a rebuttal hahahaha!

What I did not like in the past two years was the lack of any impact in ODI's and his patchy batting in tests.   So calm down a bit.

Please quote you orginial assessment of De Kock - the one you quoted qas not the original one.   You trash ed huim earlier.

It boils down to the simple fact that if you don't bullshit, you won't need to remember.

I'm not sure if it's bullshit or whether it's just that he loves being opinionated.
