A lot of angst from Bok supporters. Do you all really think that you went from being one of the best packs in the world to being crap? Not likely.
Argie pack is not push-over so to speak, lol Boks had a bad day and this was compounded by Meyer experimenting plus a few players are totally burned out (sharks).
You guys will thrash the Wobblies & we will all be hearing about how you will demolish the "pap" tight five of the ABs. This the manic depressive cycle you guys seem to be on.
Wiese was a lock!! Man, he has "rounded out" rather well since his playing days Beeno's wife you put him on a veggie diet or at least keep him a way from the meat pies, lol

JW. kobus wiese is not the sharpest pencil in the box. I thought that statement re going backwards was made by Bakkies?Beast and Malherbe stopped the Argies scrum dead in their tracks. No long term worries about the scrum. For world cup we could have Beast, Du Toit/Kitshof. Jannie, Malherbe and Marcell van der Merwe. Looks okay to meI agree JW some of the saffa oaks get a little too emotional - egged on as they are by the unstable kbbs! Fort unately thereare some sane heads around.

Same old injury story. Some say its our direct rugby approach doing most of the damage.

Fact is that Jannie at 32 is past it and should be replaced. He has been anything but soliod in Super 15 and in the June tests. Mozart calls him his National Treasure and sees things in him nobody else see. I am not as worried about the 3 position as everybody else seems to be.
The best scrummaging teasm in Supper 15 was the Lions and their 3 played a major role in that regard. His name is Dreyer. The Lions made mincemeat of the scrumming of teams they played on CC level thus far as well. I am really surprised that Dreyer and their looshead Van der Merwe is not in the Springbok squad.
Wgat worries me more is what is going to happen in the Perth test next week. Meyer is no doubnt going to play pap Victor at lock an he is no support in scrums at all. That is bound to cause another disaster in scrumming.
By the way - our three resident morons is now stating that DE Jager is to blame for not providing support in scrums - but ignores the fact that our pops regularly popped up in scrums. That measn they could not stand the pressure coming from the opposing props and the locks behind them. They have to find a reason to blame somebody else - their favourites Jannie and Gurthro is sacroscant and cannot be blamed for anything.
Time for Gurthro to continue his attack on the the French food supply chain and fior Dr Jannie to go into medical practice full time.

Mike its difficult to fathom why any sane person would think the 106 kg matfiled will outscrum the 125 kg lood but we do know that the matfiled groupies have absolutely no sense of reality.
It's like that article I posted re the return of the heavies to bolster the Boks - matfiled and Alberts. matfield a lock heavy bwahahahahhahahaha these okas are hialrious.Thyes till speak of Big Vic etc. In their eyes he is a monster who can do no wrong.
Jannie if he is managed properly should still make the Bok RWC squad. Right now he and Bissie are kaput. Hopefully the week extra rest might do them good.
Check it out but Julian Redlinghuys is the Lions tighthead who is strong. Dreyer is not a strong scrummager as far as I recall it - but very mobile

Ze romoron
There is no irony - Matfield is very weak in scrumming and all forms of tightt 5 play bar line outs. He will sprovide zero support in scrums. They would not pop up - they will hurcle backwards. Doffies - wake up.
