If Fourie Dupreez is not available for much of next year I suspect we shall see the return of Morne Steyn. Field kicking was a major issue this tour.

His field kicking game is not great, but better than Pollard and Lambie at the moment.

The 2 key problems for Bok rugby in the Northern Hemisphere in 2014 were.

1. Breakdown.

Was better against England with Schalk Burger, but in the other 3 games were terrible. Francious Louw and Schalk need to share this position. Many of the carries by Boks resulted in penalties or turnovers due to forwards being slow to get to the point of tackle.

All 3 loose forwards must be competitive at the breakdown, and at least some of the tight five.

Northern Hemisphere conditions especially when refereed by a ref from N.H, things are going to get messy at the break down.

2. Field kicking.

The opposition defences were easily countering any field kicking game from the Boks. This meant the Boks played too much of the game in their own half.

A good territory game could have put the forwards on the front foot more often , and also allowed our lineout to put more pressure on them.

Morne was properly deep sixed after his match losing blunder against Oz. But he did help win in Salta. He is a prolific points scorer, and he knows how to control a game. Pollard and Morne should be our fly halves . Lambie is no RWC winning flyhalf, he is our alternative to Willie in tight matches.

We need a proper fetcher, and a power runner at 7. I have always said that Coetzee fits neither requirement, which makes his selection problematical.

FDP aside we have a massive problem at scrumhalf.....I'd axe Hougaard from the squad but who then? Reinach runs hot and cold and is not world class.....Jano Vermaak?

Well back to square one....Reinach and Hougaard  have really been a waste of time in the literal sense. Now watch that delusional bombastic bore Dave come on here and tell us they were both "average".

The reason we lose matches and then pitch up for the big ones is intensity, because of our physical style if we don't rock up and play at 100 miles an hour with our big bosh plan then we have nothing.

Wales yesterday were almost as terrible as we were, it was a penalty shootout and the team with the most kicks won.

The only thing yo can take from that game is when we switch off we are te rrible

BS about Morne "But he did help win in Salta. He is a prolific points scorer'   h is as useless as they come - - prolific point scorer - what a bloody idiot you are.   Morne tried toi make sure the Argentininas won in Salta<  remember that aimless kick directly into touch passing abck ball possession to the Argenintininans minutes before the end of the game qwhich pinned the Springbos back in their own half and allowd the Argeninians to counter-attack.   A penalty or drop kick and the game was lost.

Well I for one am glad we had our most creative 10's out there yesterday to help control field position, kick the goals, make the line breaks and score all those try's. Jest aside that game is gold dust in a cuse study of what we will face in every gave out of the pool in the RWC. We need to compete and win at the breakdown and control from 9 and 10. On the back of that we can not have the pack shown there backsides 5 m from the try line on attack.
