Will RG Snyman ever play again?

So more injury woes for RG, he has only played 54 min or rugby in two seasons. It doesn't look like that he will be back anytime soon neither. His main problem is his knee ligaments. It is probably one of the most difficult injury to recover from and takes the longes. I had tore my ACL many years ago and it is extremely painful post injury. 

I was hoping that RG would be back soon and a worthy replacement for RG or even partner Etzebeth that would make some lock pairing. 

I also recall way back when, when we had Andres Bekker and Matfield duking it out. Bekker was incredible mobile lock but also had the bulk that Saffex likes to drool over. But, in the finals between the stormers and bulls to claim the Super rugby trophy, Matfield was the one that came out on top that day, even though bekker performed better through out the season. I could never understand why Bekker were not Meyers first choice and why on earth would ask Matfield to come out of retirement. The answer is simple, Bekker had injury problems with his back. So he opted to extend his career by playing in Japan instead. This allowed him to play for several seasons, but we would never see this guy in a test a match again. 

One could almost argue that this may be the end of RG, I do believe he is our best lock in that he has the hands and aggression, but another giant plagued by injury and physics. His big frame is simple too much for his knees

ACL are a bugger, the man is 2m plus, huge frame and very athletic. Just hope he can get back to some fitness

That is exactly how I felt in 2015 till 2017 and then the gloom lifted when the Springboks came from low down in the rankings and won the WC in the best final the Springboks ever played.  Just 3 yeas ago they proved to be the best team in the WC and even though Covid and other conditions played havoc in 2022-2021 the situation is far better than it was in 2015 to 2017.   No team really respected the Springboks in those three years - now they are respected by all top rug by teams in the world.   Keep up your hilarious comments they are extremely clueless.  LMAO
