Russell’s aimless kicking is putting Scotland under pressure, as noted by the commentator…resulting in a fine England try.

Scotland back line, tight five and defence was magnificent tonight. Huw Jones, Steyn, Duhan and Russel were class. Not to mention, White, the nippy 9 that parted the defence like the Red Sea for his try.

English looked one dimensional and played like the tigers. You can get away with that style in the prem but not at international level.

Can’t believe Duhan is playing for the Scot’s. Should have been a bok. Fuck you Rassie.

As the commentator said, he is the best finisher in the game.

Duhan is electric, and immensely physical, as evidenced by folding Steph like a napkin. But he has some vulnerabilities. Still, I'd rather he were a Bok. But Erasputin likes to play politics.

The run was good, but it did seem that he might have benefited from another Scotland player obstructing the first tackler.

Owen Farrell is a poor tackler as well.

No buts Shark that was pure class relying on a combination of skill, pace and power to manufacture a try he should never have been able to score. I get angry every time I see him playing for Scotland, same applies to Pierre Schoeman and Paul Willemse None of these players should ever have been allowed to slip the net. Agreed King - fuck you Rassie

I am not happy with blaming only Rassie.   Duhan was buggered around when he played  Undedr 20 rugby as well - he was not in the starting 15 in most of the games played.   He then went to the Bulls and never made their Under 21 team and from there went to play for Montpellier and although he played 3 matches for that club he was largely ignored by them.   After that he went to Scotland and ended up playing for the Scottish team.

Sure - his talent was obvious from his Junior years and he never made any franchise and club teams before he went to Scotland.   Rassie should have acted in 2018 to bring him into the Springbok set-up but did not and for that he was to blame.   By 2019 it was too late to bring Duhan into the Springbok set-up.

Be it as it may the rot started much earlier than with Rassie and  part of the problem all along was the quota issue.

Agree Mike, young players don't get ro start a lot, but he did play 2 junior bok games. The problem is he is too White to play wing. Instead we opted for a drug cheat and some wingers that can't tackle like Mpimpi.

I've been advocating to have him for years. He did it 2 years ago against the English team last time they won at Twickenham.

Agree on Paul Willemse, however that is not on Rassie but SA rugby. I listened to an interview with Paul and said that he wasn't even invited to a squad of 75 players. How is that possible. So he got an offer from France and never looked back.

Pierre Schoeman has been very impressive, but we had the Beast and now Kitshoff.

Question Saffex, Schoeman or Ox,

Also so the Scottish scrum destroy Genge and that other pretender.

WP Nel at 37 still putting a big shift after 60min.

Maybe our players only peak at 35

I blame Rassie 100% as regardless of what happened to these players prior to Rassie’s tenure none of them had been capped by their adopted countries at the time Rassie was appointed so a simple phone call would have more than likely secured these players. King - Oz or Schoeman - too close to call I’d have both along with Kitshoff and rotate them as I would Malherbe, Thomas and Wilco at 3 as I would Eben, Willemse and Jenkins at 4

It seems to me that English Rugby is very sick and it is not entirely the fault of Eddie Jones.   There are seemingly too many players in the team who regards themselves as irreplaceable prima donnas.   Another reason why English rugby is struggling has to do with the fact that t here are too many foreign players in clubs impacting on development of local players.    The same situation applies to English soccer and even cricket as well.

Borthwick had the players for 11 days and during that time he lost a number of players to injury.

Jones is to blame for a lot of our problems and that includes a poor attitude from some.

But I do agree that there are far too many foreign players in the League impacting on the development of English players.
