Willie....

is too slow to be a winger and he's too pap with the boot to be a Fullback. In his favour we know he has the ability to deceive and he also has good passing skills on either side. There are time s when he pops up in the backline bringing along fluency and the element of surprise. The Boks don't have a Flyhalf going forward....would they lose anything by starting Willie at 10 even if it's just an experiment? I think not.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Willie is South Africa's Quade Cooper - he's so illusive he fools himself at times.  His team mates never know where is going next.  But, he did play a fair amount of games at 10 - so why not try..

 I would rotate him with lambie, so that the 2 players would constantly swap from 15 to 10 (and vice-versa) if needed during the whole game.
That way we'd have 2 playmakers, that alongside with brusing ball runners like Van Rensburg and De Allende would make an interesting recipe!

 @quacky96 - Imagine Coetzee having to work around that one.  Two totally different flyhalf players would mean a strategy involving a change in approach to suit the player currently the incumbent at 10.  It can and will work if you had a strategically minded coach who could "think". 

If Willie Leroux had a backline coach- the rest of his team would know how to run supporting lines. Playing him at ten on 2nd phase onwards is an option- but he could not make a clearance kick from the 22 in the first phase.
I would rather have Goosen at 15 alternating with Willie Leroux. Goosen has the best touch finder of all our options and is probably a better goal kicker than the others bar Morne.
Having Goosen and Leroux on the pitch will give more attacking options

No Willie is a fullback end of.....in our last two tests he was our best back when he came on
His strength is operating in space creating something from nothing......he is best utilised as a roamer, something he can only do from fullback......play him at 10 which requires far more structure and you nullify his unpredictability.
Jantjies showed for the Lions that he is a class act.....who simply cant operate under Coetzee.....Lambie and Goosen are class 10's messed about by Coetzee playing them at fullback.
We have flyhalves to burn.....add the return of Pollard and add du Preez and du Plessis to the mix

 We sure got a lot of talent, the same can't be said of the coaches (except Ackermann)

I like the direction Marais is taking the Bulls and I suspect Fleck will do the same with the Stormers so things are improving on the coaching front.

The biggest issue for these coaches is the flood of youngsters leaving to play in the UK, France and Japan.....its getting out of hand

The answer is very simple....we are in dire need of an excellent fly-half.One with speed off the mark, great side step, powerful straight runner, crash through any defensive line, excellent ball carrier, one who can read the game and above all an exceptional kicker.
Now u might be wondering who in the RSA meets all these requirements right!
