When Willemse came on the WP backline was disorganized and he immediately made an impact at flyhalf. In the end he was the key to the last WP try and that says a lot after a prolonged absence from rugby.
Although he is not playing for the Springboks today there is to my mind no way that his performance yesterday for WPwill not be studied by Erasmus - especially since there is not convincing performances by Jantjies and the to so-called abck-up centers, as well as Gelant thus far this year.
My money is on Willemse beings elected ahead of Jantjies and Gelant as the support backline player for the WC.
