The wobblies are in the lead but looking ring rusty.

Genia looks to have lost speed.

Wobblies must up the anti.

Juan De Jongh is annoymous as is usual when it comes to a big game. Those thinking he should be in the Bok squad must think again based on the first half.

De Jong finally did something. Could have been penalized for a slap down.

Not too bad JW. But I feel Oz are rusty. Sir John looks most undistinguised. Not very inspirational.Kurindranou must look to pass the ball. He is messing up th e backline dispite getting over the gainline. The halfwitted commentators have not realised this yet.

De Jongh knocks on intercept attempt.

No try to baabaas! both hands on ball. Kiwi barbarians get rub of the green as one would expect.
De Jongh is so far behind the other centers on the field its embarassing joke.

Jw I hope you are watching the game and not concentrating on how much space we have in our trophy cabinet? (Which will be filled in due course of course!)

I have been admiring the carpentry of the cabinet Beeno. I fine piece of work & it looks unused although I have heard it was made 30 or so years ago.
Also watching this game & the wobblies are now getting their act together so the score is mounting.

South Afrcian Barbarians starring. Du Toit powers forward. Sarel try saving tackle etc.Two tries. I thought there were just too many kiwi s in the side.Oz win but those two tries made it close. Great come back by the saffas!

Were there SA players in the side? No wonder the barbarians started to struggle when slade & some kiwis went off at 50 minutes.

Du Toit is test material. Beat Kepu in the scrums and was huge outside of it, Brussow was quiet and should have came on for Todd rather than Thompson.
Brilliant rugger though!

Wise words BB, the wobblies back-line look like they will cause problems for all teams. It was like that going into the last RWC.

Polenesian imports from the Oz rugby colonies are helping Oz. The day their pack really performs is the day the wee abs are dreading.
When you see the size of modern backs one wonders about these cries for De Jongh and Kolbe and all the small little guys who have the odd flashes of brilliance at Currie Cup level. Will Senatla cope against Speight etc. We dare not field too fragile a backline. On top of that Meyer looks to be considering a fragile pack with wee matfiled and oupa. Jannie o utside the scrums is sub par.
We have the players but can't put it together as per usual. Beating the hapless abs is no measure of success. Bwahahahahahahhahaha. To win the RWC we will need a significantly better team that that fielded against the abs recently.
