AN ALL-female Cambridge college will now accept anyone who identifies as female because “gender is not binary”. GOD MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE. OF COURSE SATAN WILL TRY TO OVER TURN THAT TRUTH AND MORONS WILL SUCK IT ALL UP AS THEY DO ALL TEH OTHER BS.

Cambridge’s Murray Edwards College, which began life as New Hall and counts TV presenters Claudia Winkelman and Mishal Hussein, Elizabeth Norton, the historian, and the actress Tilda Swinton among its alumni, will no longer require applicants to be “legally defined as female”.

Students who think they are women will be eligible for a place.

Tilda Swinton said: “With so much gender inequality still in the world there is a role for a college able to focus on outstanding young women, their learning and skills for life."

The move follows a similar decision from admissions firm UCAS who removed the word “legal” from the gender section of forms.

The college revealed it had “sympathy with the idea that gender is not binary” and that “narrow gender identities” are damaging to “wider society”.(REALLY!!!!)

It added: “In relation to current students, we consider each case on an individual basis, focusing on what is in the best interests of that individual.

Should the student decide that they would prefer to be in a mixed college if transitioning to male or if rejecting a binary gender category, the College would be fully supportive of a transfer.”

The college was founded to address gender imbalance at Cambridge University but this move will raise questions about that mission.

Feminist Dr Germaine Greer, who attended Newnham College, one of the other women-only colleges at the university, described the decision as “ridiculous”

She told The Daily Telegraph: “If Murray Edwards really don’t believe that gender is binary, then they really shouldn’t be a single sex college.”

Academics defended the move saying it did not challenge the female-only policy of the college but recognised that the way we define women is changing.

Tutor Juliet Foster said: “Our position is very clear: we want to be open to all outstanding young women. We felt that was therefore in line with our values to accept all women, including transgender people who identify as female.”
