The World Rugby Player of the year Finalists have been announced. Predictably World Rugby are recognising the outstanding performances in the British and Lions Series In NZ.
Beaudan BarrettReiko IoaneOwen FarrellIsrael FolauMaro Itojoe
Pretty fair finalists. Out of them I would go for Reiko Ioane. He has had a pretty outstanding breakout season. Has scored 8 tries in 9 tests. Lead the Stats in the Rugby Championship. In Defenders Beaten, Clean Breaks, and Metres Made.

All worthy....in terms of significance I’d go for Farrell whose nerveless kicking kept the Lions alive.

All of them are worthy contenders, except perhaps Itoje. One of these players needs to continue the same form over the next few weeks.
Ioane has looked very dangerous in space. He is fast and has a gliding step. Farrell has been rock solid.
I suspect that a New Zealand player will not win it given the All Blacks have not been 100% this year- at least compared to other years.
Farrell could be a done deal- as long as he plays well in the next few games.

Farrell has been solid yes. But I have a feeling they may give it to Reiko could be wrong. But if he wins Breakthrough player of the year too which he is up for too. IT is possible World Rugby go for Rekio. Depends how he finishes his season too. But I Think it is based on the season. Not the EOYT. Barrett has been solid this season. But no where near as good as last year. SO I don't think he well win. TO me it is between Owen Farrell and Rekio Ioane.

All of them are white SA players. They are the best in the world. No worries, a SA will get the title.

Only because of the relatively mediocre results of the Boks has Eben been over looked. Should have been the winner.
Beeno knows where the real grunt lies.
Ioane had many easy runs to the tryline. My Granny could have scored many of those tries.Beau bar rat -  must get it on his dainty looks.
Foul ou makes a yard or two on occasions and is good under the high ball. Better bet the two nz pretenders.
Owen who is that?

That kind of stupid who can see that, over 25 years, SA have not trained one decent non white player.

With that level of stupidity, the secret is blown out, everyone knows about it.

Pieterson

Senatla

Kolbe

Aplon

Afrika

I am not saying they were the best in the world in their respective positions... well some were, but they were most definitely more than decent players.

Are you saying these players listed here are, and were not.... decent?

DA, with a bit of care, that list can be trippled, but don't waste your time. I've asked him before and he tends to just disappear for a while. Bitter balls wind-up artist of note. Cowardly one too.

Beeno All Ioane had to do was run them in. Hmm lets flash back to Albany. When your wingers were made to look silly. When Ioane made a brilliant 50 metre run. And bamboozled was it Rhule lol? Ioane is not just a finisher. Analysts, you know people who are not you. Have marvelled at his work rate, his work around the field. His defense. He ain't just a finisher. But hey even if he was. Can't say the same for any of your flimsy backs.

Relax Luke, Beenz is just winding you up a bit. He knows a good wing when he sees one. Ioane is a fine wing with the potential to be great. He and the 2 Barret brothers are my favorite Allblacks at the moment. Great to watch McKenzie too. but I'm not too sure about him yet.

People expecting answers within hours. Speaking of a sense of entitlement. Obviously, in SA, people of the right skin colour are used to living a priviledged life, expecting to be served.
That stays in SA though.

Are you saying these players listed here are, and were not.... decent?

It is useless because SAns do it already without any external input.

The list is weird to say the least.
It starts with a highly controversial name, one player that SAns consider themselves as unworthy of the SA shirt. And this player must be considered a decent player...

The rest of the list includes a collection of players about to retire.Hence not trained during  the last 25 years. The english non white player named for the award fits the depiction: he was trained during the last 25 years. It is not about players on the verge of retiring, it is about players who are right now at the start of their career.
They are the ones who are going to play for SA in the near future.

Once players about to retire removed, the list shows names of players who are not considered by SAns as decent 15 man rugby players as they are mainly 7 man rugby players. They have no record in 15.

The rest of the names finished the story: rejects deemed unworthy of the shirt.

While other nations now sustain a trending up move to train decent non white players, SA are trending to the zero level.

Watching the U20 WC, other squads features one or two decent non white players.
SA, zero.
Next WC, other squads will feature one or two, SA, zero.
And the following next and so on.

Over the last 25 years, despite starting with a large pool of non white people, SA managed the achievement of training zero decent non white player.

waffle waffle BS. You said not one in 25 years. You lied, because you knew the truth when you made that statement.  Moving the goal posts won't blind anyone to your fooked up prejudiced agenda. Go simmer in your hate infused bile.

Bwahahahahahahahahahaha !!!!

And therein lies your complete and utter stupidity

Most of those players I listed above were just youngsters when we hosted the world cup..... just 22 years ago..... so how in the hell can you state that they were not trained in the last 25 years?

Just some examples of what their ages were, only 22 years ago, not even 25 years as you state.

Kolisi was 4 years old

Bryan Habana was 12 years old

Sentala was 2 years old

Paulse was 19 years old

Afrika was 7 years old

Pietersen was 9 years old

Jantjies was 5 years old

Kolbe was 2 years old

Senatla and Kolbe were not even born 25 years ago..... you moron.

You now realise just how stupid you really look, and have decided to move the goal posts to further prove your very stupid and irrational point.

Too easy..... way too easy
