So, just looking at a weekly report on Saffas abroad and I can't help to think in which country our best players will come from. 


So it got me thinking.


Can we select a team from each country, ie England, France, Japan and SA. 


Of the players based in each country, which team would come out top?

So looks like most of our best players are in England and Ireland if I were to select from each country. 

But I think a foreign based team would beat our SA based team any day of the week. Just too much quality and experience

But we could have a 3 way bok trials match between players based in France, Britain and SA. 

For me the forgotten players are, but should be consider for the Lions

  1. Rohan Jansen van Rensberg
  2. Tyrone Green
  3. Serfontein 
  4. Coenie Oosthuizen
  5. Akker van der Merwe
Johan Goosen has done nothing for Montpellier. 
But if you look at the list, we don't seem to have as many players in France anymore. It was really difficult to pull a decent match day 23 together for the France based players

But out of the 3 regions, there is still a decent enough talent pool that can be selected as your World Cup squad and not even have to worry about who is sitting in SA
