Which tells us things are still in very bad shape. This team is not ready for the RC. We haven't settled.....left wing, outside centre, flyhalf, tighthead prop, hooker, both flanks.
With the performances of Whiteley and Combrink we seem to have settled those two spots.

This team isn't at all settled....in terms of tactics and selections we are desperately confused.

 Mozart as per normal is off his trolley because he does not know what he talks about as per normal.   The key shortcomings he failed to mention in his post are left out - a deficient hooker contributing zero to scrumming is mentioned but his scrumming contribution is the problem why the Springbok scrumming is misfiring.   Add to that a seriously-defective no 8 - both wings, not only one.   No - we would not have made the comeback against the AB's - but it would not have been necessary if the right players were selected.   There were way too many passengers in that team.

 Yes I agree, Mozart ... we are by a long shot not ready for the All Blacks ... not with this current squad of halfwits and quotas.
Our scrum is poor ... we have no-one contesting the breakdown properly ... we have a nervous 10 ... a brain dead 12 who leaks badly  ... and a carthorse on the left wing in JP.
Our bench is riddled with quotas in Paige and Nyakane ... and the thought of having Jesse Kriel coming on in the second half fills one with utter dread.
The All Blacks must be licking their chops ...

Believe it or not CC ABs and AB fans want to play strong teams... of course we still want to win but the game is no good if the opposition are crap. Hansen said so himself recently.

Rubbish, we only lost by 2 to a better AB side in the WC and were cheated out of a home victory in the RC thanks to the McCaw illegal line out try.


The side under Coetzee is better than that selected by Meyer. A side that is yet to get to grips with a change in coach.....but my guess is that those last 20 min might have just been the tonic they needed.


We are more than covered at wing if Coetzee selects wisely, we have choices to burn


Bring Jessie Kriel back at 13 where he belongs


Jantjies is in the form of his life and by far our best 10......you questioning him after a solid test or two is laughable. Show faith and investment


In Malherbe we have the best young tighthead in the game, closely followed by Marcel v/d Merwe


Strauss is worldclass, but yes Bismark is better


Jaco Kriel is the obvious choice at 6 and bring in a bruiser at 7 like Jacques du Plessis or Kirsten or a du Preez twin or Mostert at 7


Play the in form Whitely at 8 and play the best loosehead in the game in Kitshoff at 1

I would expect nothing less from you guys.
However ... beating the current Boks side up, would give guys like you plenty of ammo to rip into us ... verbally abuse us ... for a long time to come. 
You and the AB fans would obviously relish that.

CC, we already have plenty of ammo to rip into the Boks - & a few of their hapless fans too. A lot could have been said about the first loss to Ireland & even the first 55+ minutes this weekend could be targeted but not a peep from us 
Boks will come right & then we will hear the chest-beating again & enjoy thrashing you again. Best if you give up now & become an AB fan, the jerseys a lot better than that white rag the Poms wear. How could you even think about it?
