Well done WP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have to say also hard luck Lions you were great in the Currie Cup and should be in the Super 15. You are are least 50 points better than the queens.Game could have gone either way. However we did miss Liebenberg, Bekker and Jean not to mention Elstadt.

Coetzee however is crazy to be playing Scurra who almost destroyed our pretty good scrum. Why he doesnt play Du Plessis at center is also a mystery.

Stupidity is always a factor in dealing with everything in life.   In rugby a stupid flyahlf can cost you the game and that is excatly what Jantjies was today.   That last kick of his destroyed any chances the Lions could have had to win the game.

However, there can be no doubt - Etzebeth (even with his shorts pulled down and his ass exposed) was the driving force that took the maul forward and Vermeulen scored  the try that decided the outcome.

Anyway - I did not see part of the match because of poor TV reception as the result of the weather - so I would not comment on the playes involved before I saw the actual broadcast.

Now let me get to my viewpoint on the final - I do not give WP a 10% chnce to beat the Sharks - end of story.

Vermuelen to me is still not looking himself. Not playing too badly but just not back to his best. Seems slower.

As I noted above, without Liebenberg and by playing a non scrumming hooker like scarra we could be in  trouble against the sharkies. I also think we will have a hard tie against the sharks. If Liebenberg, Bekker , Elstadt and jean were fit I think our chances would be reasonable. I too have doubts as to wehther this team can beat the sharks. However Mike remember how coastal sides battle at altitude and how the sharks crashed up there last year. So its not cast in stone.

Groom is a nice improvement on Duvenage. I quite like our big new dark haired wing. Get Du Plessis on the field!!! Brache is not in the same class.

Beeno

The inclusion of Du Plessis would add huge value to the WP backline.   I think that the problem for WP centers around Lambie, and the Shark center combination - as well as Pietersen and Ludick    On the whole the question mark centers around the backline strengths of the two teams.
