If any oak is wondering how an open side flanker should play take a look at Deon Fourie

Problem with Deon is that he is stupid and gives away far too many penalties. He is a good player, love his intensity but sadly it gets him into trouble too much......he needs to learn to only execute legally.

Snapster he is always contesting so there will be some penalties.
Deon is a far more complete player than Kolisi. Faster, stronger, better as a fetcher, better as a runner and far more involved. Its a disgrace he is not in ther Bok mix! Perfect guy to bring on with 30 minutes to go.

Kitshoff is demolishing the Lions scrum. This young gun must be in the Bok mix next year

Disagree, I much prefer Kolisi, there is no way Fourie is faster or stronger..............Fourie gives away far too many penalties, would be a liability in a test match.

I like Fourie but I prefer Kolisi and Brussouw. Kriel of the Lions also impresses me.

Yes and I am sure Kitshoff will be next year. Gets through a heap of work. I see he is getting man of match - he played excellent rugby.Van der Heever also looked good.Kolbe punches above his weight. Allende is  very strong. Both the lions  and WP have very mobile packs

It is but Kitshoff destroyed Herbst, a Bok hopeful......so CC has nothing to do with it

Yeah I really like de Allende's physicality, he is hard to contain.

Good to see Malherbe back from injury at tighthead

If Allende can improve his skills, offloads etc he could go far.

WP showing they are the class of the CC. Simply brilliant. Good defense, solid set piece combined with an explosive backline. AC has the formula right and has given a bunch of young guys their opportunity. Looking good to take the Cup.
What a massive work rate, but agree that Fourie needs to lessen the # of penalties - not every ruck is a turnover opportunity.  WP may lose him to an international team.
Kolbe stresses a defense every time he gets the ball. Lots of mongrel. Would like to see how he goes in Super Rugby.
