Both teams rightly deserved to be in the CC final this year but which team is more than likely going to have the edge? Much has been said about the Lions team, the forward pack has been sublime in every aspect and the backs have a lot of attacking options that they make use of so well. There is a distinct game plan structure that suits different players and there are some that don't suit the game plain structure but the lions players do as a unit. In the final the Lions will look to impose their quality players such as Willie Britz, Warren Whitely also Howard Mnisi who is in his prime. Jaco Kriel and Nizaam Carr both went off injured, it would be disappointing if both players is not eligible to play in the final next week, both players are absolutely class.

WP are on the verge of wining the title at home but it definitely wouldn't be easy to win against a on form Lions team. From what I observed the WP have the better outside backs for sure. I think if WP province can create space for Senatla and Kolbe as well as execute different running angles through the centre they'll win it but I don't think they'll win it through the forwards in a 10 man game, the lions simply have the better forwards.
If Etzebeth, Vermeulen and others is involved it would be a different result of course

I'm predicting Lions by 10 but I hope I'm wrong.

Definitely, Jerome both sides...the Lions especially...what a comeback from being humiliated by being excluded from Super series not so long ago and being the ones to beat in the Currie cup.

Completely anniliated the Cheetahs and the Sharks and although I'm hoping WP can win (if not the Sharks, who certainly don't deserve it after yesterday's error proned display) I can see the determined Lions winning this one. A formidable well balanced side that fires in every dept with a heart of a lion...pun intended.

Ackerman and his lads have shown us what can be done...well done Lions and WP.
