1.  Give your prediction on who will win the game & by how much.

2. Give your prediction of the actual score if you want (optional).

You get to make one change in your prediction up to 24 hours before kick-off (I will use the day & time of your post) only your final prediction counts.

Give your predictions on this thread & I will update a table so we can keep track.

For Eden Park test: 23 posters participated.
Wfunston was closest to predicting how much the ABs would win by.
Moolaa & Canrugby were the closest in predicting the actual score. Maybe they paid the ref off, lol

Hey there JW. Instead of final score maybe we should predict final number of players on each team - hehe. I do hope the players do a better job of keeping level heads and their tempers than the fans are doing otherwise I fear the game could quickly degenerate and yet again fail to live up to expectations. It must be said that both teams have acted with class since the incident.

I think Boks will win by 14. 17-31. I have big expectations for FDP.

Hoping Argentina can keep the all blacks from a 4 try bonus point because I think Aussies will be tougher with Horwill back, talk of Robinson back in the scrum and Timani possibly starting. Also think White is better at scrummie to combat the bok game.

Geez nukefree - looks like that SA wife of yours has figured out your password. lol

I cant see the Boks being able to contain our backs. And the ABs defence is also better than the Boks so on a dry track ABs to score 4 or 5 tries and a couple of penalties. Say about 40 points or more.

Springboks will maybe get 1 try , two at the most and nail 4 or 5 penalties from a sympathetic ref. Say 28 points and i'm probably being far too generous..

No matter how you add that up though it's a win to the Mighty All Blacks...

Lol steinlager. I know, it wasnt easy picking the Boks but don't worry, it's just a preliminary prediction.  I just worry hometown advantage and traveling to Argentina then South Africa might be a bridge too far for the ABs. Ellis Park is their rugby fortress.  They'll be desperate to redeem themselves.  I'm also concerned that the ABs might lose a couple more crucial  players to injury. If the ABs can arrive in SA with a fit Kierran Read and Conrad Smith they will be in with a very good chance. I still reserve the right to change my mind after we get to see the ABv Puma and SB v WB games.

if bismarck or any Bok players dont get any yellow or red cards, All Blacks by 30.

if bismarck or any Bok players do get any yellow or red cards, All Blacks by 30.

either way, All Blacks will still win, cos most of SA still dont realise that the only thing worse then poite was the Boks uesless 10 man rugby plan.

Thanks to the following posters for their first predictions:

Wardad; steinlager; Sheeza; Oimately; Sharkbok; nukefreekiwi.

Some reasonable predictions I would say & you stll get a chance to change them up until 24 hour before game time.

Beeno is still making his calculations (I can almost hear that brain cranking) but once he factors in the refs bad calls he will favour us with his wisdom,  lol

Mozart was the superior predictor of the SA posters in the Auckland test - logic won out over passion - so let's see what he comes up with for the Ellis Park test.

Hakwa:yeah it's tough not to respond when the likes of beeno & redman stir the pot, lol that's why I decided to give two predictions for the game: one now which would be more based on passion & 1 24 hours before the game which would be based on cold hearted logic. Anyway the sniping is part of the fun to a point , lol

Boks 36 AB 24 @ JW, I expect a pay-back time type of performance from the Lads, only if the Boks manage to keep 15 man on the field for 80 minutes.

Thanks ntanga. I put your prediction in the table. I agree both teams have to keep 15 men on the table so it will be a matter of controlling the aggression.

Yeah ... we know now that we're to play a little gentler with your boys.

It's either that or we'll be playing with a few less men ... again.

Must be nice to be protected by the IRB, huh?

JW - need to temper my expectations. Still think the Boks will win, but by less - 5.

In these big matches the points tend to come off turnovers and mistakes and I think the AB's #1 objective will be winning the cup so they may well have a more conservative territory and defensive structure approach making the Boks play the rugby to earn their tries. As a result fewer opportunities for the Boks to take advantage
In contrast I hope the Boks don't chase the 4 tries from the outset but first try and win the game and only go for the bonus points if the game flow works out that way.
Disappointing we couldn't capitalize on the opportunity for the bonus point yesterday

I have added Papamoa and BokBF predictions to the table.
Oimatey: did not change your prediction as I was not sure what you want it to be. You say less than 5 but I have to enter a number so do you want it to be 4? Also, do you want to predict the score also? Right now you are down for:
Boks            By       Score
Oimatey 14 17-31
Bok posters, right now you and the kiwis are equal in the number of predictions, ie. 8 each. This even though there are far fewer Kiwis than Bok fans on this site. Are you trying to tell us you are not confident? Don't let the kiwis beat you in the predictions and in the game. Give your predictions now.

Abs 31-23 it well be a good game and boks at home always hard, but the abs too many key players in key posistions opposed to the boks, think abs expansive gameplan well be too good too, if bismark is off his game it wwll be worser too.

You boks fans still using the ref as your pre-disposition when it comes to an excuse lol, regardless of the ref's performance you can only play what is in front of you, the abs are generally supeior it has nothing to do with the ref. If a team is supior, and were going to win the first place they woulden't need to use the ref as an excuse they would win anyway, it's an 80 minute game your telling me the ref is the only reason why the boks keep loosing, it's getting old and it is not reflecting well on the game, that said it is the same thing in the NRL too.
