All jokes aside, what is the point of these prediction threads?
At the start of every rugby tournament you can think of . . . Rugby Championship, Super Rugby, Lions Tour, Currie Cup . . . you name it, Superbru put up a competition where you can join a pool of your mates (like our RuckersForum pool) and p ut up your predictions for every game. Your predictions are recorded and you score points against your fellow players based on whether you got the result right and how close you were to the margin of victory.
It always amazes me when posters start these kind of threads when the technology is all there waiting for you. Our RuckersForum Rugby Championship pool on Superbru has only two members (me and 3ku1) despite us advertising it extensively before the tournament kicked off. If anyone is interested in making predictions, why are you choosing the amateurish manual method instead of using the professional and free system that was created especially for this purpose?
Hmmmm?

Rooi, I always play the Super Rugby Superbru and some other comps too. I've given up on Ruckers SB due to the lack of  participation from other members.

Boks by 2 points.  21-19
All Blacks by 30 points.  50-20
----I like having the predictions on this board so they can be referenced in future debates/arguments.

Rooi, giving predictions on this forum means we can engage in some good natured banter. For example, last week your "mate" Moz gave a prediction of sorts and he would never participate in SuperBro, etc. I believe Beeno also ventured an opinion

My biggest concerns are
Tighthead is a disaster waiting to happen. Coenie was playing very well, in scrummaging and getting around the park.
The lineout was a comedy of errors, so hopelly Mostert will organise things- or Marx should throw blindfolded.
Number 8- lack of a linking player.
Jessica Kriel. Another JJ- playing out of position.

Jan Simpletein-  Playmaking ability appears limited.he seems to reserve his best games for the poor  opposition.

Haaaaahahahahaa!!!

Well JW ... Goats to lose by 7 and the men to demolish the Pumas by 25.

It's just a little fun. Usually we're tearing into each other. Makes for a change.

Didn't realise you guys had a super bru pool going. I usually enjoy taking part.

Sorry to have missed out.

I've given all fantasy rugby comps a break ... but will join in on the next batch.

Quite right Dr Win....it must be noted that both Beeno, Draadjie and Rooi predicted a Springbok win last week and our ex pat mathematician in Chicago a draw....Bahahahahaha
Whilst Ol' Maaikie predicted AB's to win by 32 points, Seb by +25 points and CC something similar.
By the way Mozart what's your call so that we can adjust our calls accordingly...lol.

Hmmm ... let me see ... ?

If x = 0.0375 and y = 4.012 ... when added together ... and then divided by 0.258 ... not forgetting a possible wind factor of 3 to the power of 7 multiplied ... it's undoubtedly ... another DRAW ... !!!

What else can it be? So there you have it, Sebastien. Chalk that down for Dr MothBalls!!

Gooooooooooooooooooo Wallaaaaaaaabiesssssssssssssss!!!!

You can hear a pin drop...all is quiet with this complex arithmetic...maybe it needs different approach...be kind to my web-footed friends...lol

Dear Moz would you be so kind as to let us know what your calculations show in terms that simple straight forward and well meaning guys like Traditionalist and company can interpret. Sorry if we sounded a bit rude and disrespectful of your esteemed knowledge.
Assuring you of my best attentions at all times. Tight lines. Seb.
