Blobbok: I will try not to cheat
But we do need to using the SuperBru. I have created a Pool for us called Sarugby.com.  It is much more sophisticated & it is harder to "cheat", lol
Please join the pool, it will make life much easier for me - a noble cause indeed

What has Bogtwat got to do with the selection of the Bok side. No I am serious, I think the Welsh side is better than the Bok side, especially the backline.

Fourie, Jean, Morne, du Preez, Flip, Louw and Alberts would not make my side. I would not be playing Lambie at 15 and I would not have Pienaar and Steenkamp on the bench.

For the record, Bogtwat, or CHICKEN as I now like to call him is too stupid to ruffle my feathers

Moz the love will never dwindle, I just lack faith in this Bok side, its the worst I have seen in years. The result will confirm this

Looking at the backline of the Springboks and looking back to the performance of the Springbok backline in 2010 and 2011 - as well as the ineffectiveness of our loosies in a number of aspects of the game - I am going to be the odd man out and predict a Wales win by 9 points.

Mike, you are the most negative poster on this site! If I were new to rugby and I followed your assessments and predictions regarding which teams were good and which teams were not, I'd expect about a 10% win ratio from the Boks. From an analytical point of view you are one of the most thorough people here, but damn man, stop only focusing on your prejudiced negative points . After all, the Boks have only lost two games in the last year and they were both against a fantastic All Black side (and one of the losses may have been as a result of some poor reffing).
Anyway, my prediction is Boks by 6.

One would think that the term "analytical" would usually be used on one who's prone to objectivity.

It doesn't go with an opinionated doomsayer.

Clean, Mike does spend a lot of time reviewing games and so on, I'll give him that, but it is his opinions thereafter that I have an issue with.

this is a tough one, wales are playing at home but its their first test of the season, Boks have thrown out all the good progress they had made the last 6 months with the injection of some old blood.

looking at the teams though,,,

South Africa

15. Pat Lambie , 14. JP Pietersen , 13. Jaque Fourie , 12. Jean de Villiers (c) , 11. Bryan Habana , 10. Morné Steyn , 9. Fourie du Preez , 8. Duane Vermeulen , 7. Willem Alberts , 6. Francois Louw , 5. Flip van der Merwe , 4. Eben Etzebeth , 3. Frans Malberhe , 2. Bismarck du Plessis (vc) , 1. Tendai Mtawarira

Replacements: 16. Adriaan Strauss , 17. Gurthrö Steenkamp , 18. Coenie Oosthuizen , 19. Pieter-Steph du Toit , 20. Siya Kolisi , 21. Ruan Pienaar , 22. JJ Engelbrecht , 23. Willie le Roux

vs
Wales
15 Leigh Halfpenny, 14 George North, 13 Jonathan Davies, 12 Scott Williams, 11 Liam Williams, 10 Rhys Priestland, 9 Mike Phillips, 8 Toby Faletau, 7 Sam Warburton (captain), 6 Dan Lydiate, 5 Alun Wyn Jones, 4 Bradley Davies, 3 Adam Jones, 2 Richard Hibbard, 1 Gethin Jenkins
Substitutes: 16 Ken Owens, 17 Paul James, 18 Scott Andrews, 19 Luke Charteris, 20 Justin Tipuric, 21 Lloyd Williams, 22 James Hook, 23 Liam Williams

front row - even
second row - Boks
loosies - wales
halves - wales
centers -  wales (just)
outside backs - Boks (just)

hmmm, cant see the welsh winning this, but this two bit logic dictates the wales to have slight advantage.

wales 18 vs 17 Boks

wales by 1.

hope the Boks win though, as SH rules and NH drools,

@bluebok,

"After all, the Boks have only lost two games in the last year and they were both against a fantastic All Black side (and one of the losses may have been as a result of some poor reffing)."
nope, none of those losses were due to poor reffing, poite in eden park was kak with on decision in particular stealing all the limelight of another solid All Blacks win, but the Boks were even more kak then the ref.

however ive noticed that its an easy saffa trend to blame others for ur national teams inability to cope with the pressure, i mean theres areason why the Boks have only won three tests in NZ during the professional era, none of which were in edep park BTW, a venue where the Boks last saw victory in 1937, before WWII,

but lets face more related facts, the Boks in their own backyard aka ellis park south africas rugby mecca, were still unable to do anything but lose, despite playing with 15 men for 80 minutes, while the All Blacks played a man down for a quarter of the game???
and u and many many others question the win at eden park as if it could have been something else??? what ever helps u sleep at night, even if it is 100 proof kak,
