Definitely not Morne - I gave his stats elsewhere and when he is in a tight situation - he flops 50% of the time - viz the Bulls-Brumbies semi-final,  That miss ratio is way too high to trust him with any kick of that nature.

I would rather trust Lambie with a kick like that - he does miss slightly more kicks (4%) than Morne on average - but he does not collapse in tight situations like Mo rne does repeatedly.

The first assumption is not grounded in reality - have you been talking to Beeno again?

But as this is purely a hypothetical situation I vote for Morne. He most likely would have put the Boks in this situation because he was too slow and could not spark the backline to score any tries, lol

I think I maneuvered my self out of that so both the Lambie and the Morne supporters should feel some degree of validation

With respect I do not buy into Morne's infallibility at kicking  at goal.  Last year in the CR he was down to 42% success rate - this year it increased to 79%.   However, the issue is the conditions under which Morne is to kick.   In a tight game - like the Bulls -Brumbies semi in Super 15 Morne's success rate dropped to 50%.  In the Ellis Park test it was 66% - so Morne under pressure does not convert key kicks - especially if they are slightly difficult - and those are facts of life.  I think stress contributes to his failures and when u nder stress he becomes unreliable.

Under the conditions mentioned by Mozart - a successful kick by Morne has no chance of success.
