Rassie what the fuck is your problem?

I thought you said he is a top coach? 

He spend 3 years experimenting and fell into the exact same trap as so many other coaches. Sticking with certain players too long. 

I would even Argue if Faf and Reinach should start ahead of Hendrikse and Williams. 

Don't know why we haven't seen more of the team that beat the All Blacks so convincingly at Twickenham. 

The problem is, Rassie is a tinker not a thinker. His tricks worked at the World Cup. 

Ireland don't tinker but work on the shapes and roles players perform and knowing exactly what every other players role is in their position and how they link with one another. 

They have consistently selected their best team, the back ups are well prepared and slot in very easily. 

Strong defence and brainless attack. Relying more on individual brilliance and quick steppers.

Poor old corny King has no idea that The Boks played in the Rugby Championship. Then they had two warm up GAMES AGAINST NZ and Wales then they have just played 4 poop games. 

The NH sides ended their season. Took a break and have had fewer run up tests. 

So we have have had 10. If the same team had payed all 10 tests how fresh would we be for France. 

Am was not going to be ready for this game. If we get to semis he could get a game.

I have looked at a number of clips and all say Allende and Kriel were the obvious starters. All picked Mostert. 

Nienaber says there is not much difference between the players. The team in tbe semis would be different from the team to play France. 

Sean Fitzpatrick says it a great pity Ireland France Boks and NZ are not meeting in the semis. He reckons as I have said the sides winning these two quarters will be in the final. I agree that is the most likely scenario. 

Brendan Nel says Allende and Kriel have been in great form and we're obvious picks. Kriel marshalling the defence that will be crucial against Ireland. 

When you get out the little echo chamber of Ruckers you see that the anti Allende and Kriel narrative held by some here is hard to find. 

Rugby  noobs like Corny King must  realize they just might know more than the on the spot Bok coaches. 

France will start as favorites to to home advantage. However I am still tipping the Boks to win. Knock out rugby has tended to suit us. We also love the big matches in World Cups as our record shows. 

I join with ou Rooitwit in saying Go Boks. I say it now in case we ever meet Wales. That is when ou Rooitwit jumps ship! Anyhow at least Rooitwit has supported the Boks and not been hoping they lose like Deus, Mozzz and Corny King who have said so many negative things against the Boks and Rassie that a Bok win becomes a huge embarrassment to them. 

Any two of these 4 teams can win this week end. The two that win will make the final. That to me is a reasonable prediction. 

Mostert is the one player who cleans up after others. RG is better at hitting the line and attacking. His offloads are excellent. He is a great link. Powerful and athletic. Mostert is no slouch. They are different players. Given that we don't have 1 test quality loose forward for the game, we'll need Mostert. He likely shift to flank when Duane has had his obligatory one carry and two catches. 

Erasputin is the worst coach. Even Snor was better technically, though both relied on the work of others. Erasmus is as dumb as the chumps who worship him.

All 4 teams must be facing major pressure.

Going out in the semis, is not so bad when looking back in history, but a quarter final is a disaster for any of the top 4 teams.

I suppose M’s point has merit……you know where you are with the Irish team. And that team played Ireland close. So that’s your base selection and you add value with a few changes and a better bench. The Irish team with Pollard on the bench is already a massive improvement. And in a knockout game I prefer Vermeulen.

Reinach is more of a Hougaard style of scrumhalf 

Both Reinach and Houugaard could play on the wing at test level, or close enough.
So they are very good rugby players, not just in one position. 

Some of their basic scrumhalf skills are not as good as more traditional scrum-halves.
Although Hougaard was worse on slow pitches and competitive breakdowns. Reinach is not as fast as some scrum-halves, but at least he does not trip over his own feet at the ruck- like Hougaard.

He does kick less than Faff, which I like. Sometimes it is best just to pass to the flyhalf who has more some space and time. 

Reinach is not making basic mistakes so he is consistent, but his pass could be a bit better. 

Fluff has the worst skills of all our 9s. He cannot pass or kick. He also doesn't look fit. This was a very easy choice. I suppose Twizzle Dee and Dizzle Dum had to get something right. Thankfully this was one of them.
