I will probably be on my knees in front of the TV tomorrow at some stage promising some make-believe God
Now how did I know that Baboon-ou would try to turn this rugby thread into one of his mealy-mouthed sermons about the existence of a god?
Do shut up Baboon-ou and go post your bible-bashing tripe in the Tr(*)mpet. I really don't know why you waste yours and everybody else's time on a rugby forum when you clearly have no love or passion for the game and you know so little about it. Seriously.
What a silly sentimental posting....effectively drstroyed by Hasbeen-ou.
Rooi
I posted the same thing on another thread...I can't believe I am this excited about a test not involving the Boks! There must be some serious tension and excitement in NZ at the moment, although our NZ posters are quite quiet?
A simple apology will make me relax....you too.....hahaha.
Sounds like the drugs is kicking in....
Hell you're right....the poor druggie is worshipping a TV set!
The Bloo is building up a nice little portfolio of getting onto the horse's back.....sets himself for a fall almost like the fabled Humpty Dumpty.
I think he needs a holiday...
British Lions vs New Zealand 1st test match and the foot-stamping little rugby noobs are more worried about who is or isn't apologizing to them.
LMAO!
This thread sure tells a story!
Come on Lions!!!
AG Shut-up Clown...who gives an ant's fart what you think.
Ffs D! What have I done that is so offensive to you? I made a statement, and then admitted it may be wrong. There is very good evidence both ways. Holy shart you are sensitive! Be sure not to bump your va gina on the way out.
It sure does tell a story...it shows the small, little emotional man inside the self appointed Board bully. Hilarious stuff!
Gooooooo Jacoooooooooooo!!!!
Blue, you jumped into an e-fight going on for more than a decade. Tread carefully...very carefully.![]()
Tes rooitwit you introduced the subject of God here so no stomping of feet and quivering lip stuff oak
The Lions are in with a real chance. This looks to be a smart side you thus fat appear to have found a way to nullify the nz backs. Can they do the same in the test.
Like you all I am really looking forward to this game, every Lions Tour has something different to offer hope these boys do well against no doubt the best team in the world.
Yes, the Allblacks is the greatest team out there by a long mile. I hope the Lions can pur up a good show.

Morning Gents.
Moring Xavi. Yes entertaining. Lions have squandered quite a few chances.
Yes good match. AB's look unstoppable...will the Lions' defence hold?
Another squandered chance by Lions
Lions got a sniff of blood?
wee abs are hanging on. Lions should be well ahead by now!
Worst thing about this game is Stuart Barnes and the Sky commentary. Bleh!!
Lions defence very well organised.
Peyper not watching the ball. Moment getting too big for the little man?
Wee abs cracking up with injuries!
Worst thing about this game is Stuart Barnes and the Sky commentary. Bleh

Vinny pooo la goes off after poor match.
Lions need to get out of their half.
Sam Warbuton comes on. The business end of the test is upon us.
Poor scrum by Lions lead to ab try. Or is it
Try. That could be the test.
Trytime!!
Its 20-8 as conversion hits post and goes in!
Stupid Lions knock on.
Game over. AB's just too good.
Lions disintegrating. Run out of gas.
At last wee abs pinged for tackling without ball as Lions on attack and replacements come on. Time for a try Lions!
Lions miss a crucial lineout and wee abs escape.
Lions mess up and lions score its all over
Lions have to go back to the drawing boards.
Lions score. The scoreboard flatters the wee abs who though deserve their win.
Nice to see Lions ending strong.
Congrats to the AB's and their supporters. Lions starting forwards were the weakness in this match. Reid had a cracker for a bloke just back after 6 weeks.
You have to admire the pace, power and defence of the All Blacks, some sparks of brilliance from the Lions but afraid Gatland has a lot to think about. I thought Davis had a good game. Congratulations to the All Blacks consistently good.
How SMUG was ou bent Read though in his victory speech!
Lions botched a few opportunities, but mostly due to excellent defence by NZ. Good solid win by NZ, but there's still some life left in the Lions' campaign...hopefully they can win one test, but NZ normally just get better during the srason.
Now we await some more smug kbbs!! Hahhahahahahahahaha
Well done All Blacks.
The Bok v AB games will be much better to watch. That's what I have concluded after seeing this game.
My commiserations to the Lions and there fans ,and well done ABs !
@WD As long as the Southern Hemisphere flag keeps flying high man. Having played a lot of sport in England I never liked their sporting mentality despite having huge respect for the Brits as a people. They are just way too pessimistic.
WTF is this! I did not post this and can't edit it. Beenz, how are you able to post with my account?
Sooner than you think Plum.
The dream must go on. Lions smashed and humiliated on points they were supposed to be dominant.
Same train near to stop to SA. Better to load up the squad with quotas to explain why the SA team is going to go under.
A full white squad undergoing a loss would lead to the much needed termination of rugby in SA, the outcome to be avoided.
Might be your end Draad???.
I see it's corrected now, lucky I copied it in time. WTF again!
Dem pesky gremlins dude.
Indeed.
Cheers plum ,for me its ABs then SH vs NH as I have no probs barracking for your wee chaps to give the Froglets a nice squishing !
Well thank you Cloudy, but I have my darker days too.

I literally cannot wait for this!
Don't know when last I was so up for a test match. Just shows how much poorer rugby union is since they replaced good old fashioned tours with Tri-Nations/4 Nations/Rugby Championship or whatever you want to call it. The annual contests between us and our SH rivals pale into insignificance when compared with an old fashioned tour that includes a test series.
My first exposure to international rugby as a kid was the 1974 Lions tour to South Africa and I've always had a soft spot for the Lions ever since. They always play with great passion and pride and are followed and supported by equally passionate supporters who every 4 years, put all their differences and rivalries aside and support the team as their own, Irishmen standing shoulder to shoulder with Englishmen while Welshmen and Scots embrace every time a Lions kick goes over. It is the last truly great tradition of Rugby Union and the fact that it only happens every 4 years (and we only get a visit every 12 years!) is part of what makes it such a great occasion.
I really wish we could go back to tours like this. When the British Lions are playing New Zealand, we should be touring Australia or have the Wallabies tour here. In 4 years time when the Lions tour Australia, we should be going to New Zealand for a tour or host them here.
Is it really asking too much that we have a 4 year cycle in World Rugby where we only play the Tri-Nations every alternate year and in between we have the RWC and traditional tours?
Back to tomorrow's game, before the tour I didn't give the Lions much hope of winning even a single test against these mighty All Blacks but as the day draws near, I may well be deluding myself but I'm starting to believe! If there is any one thing that has impressed me about these Lions it is their patience. They are willing to go through phase after phase and I think they will surprise and frustrate the All Blacks with the amount of possession they are able to keep.
I will probably be on my knees in front of the TV tomorrow at some stage promising some make-believe God that I will worship him from now on if he only allows the Lions to score a try . . . or if he smites Jaco Peyper down with a bolt of lightning! Been a long time since I was this wired before a game of rugby!
Come on the Lions!!!
