It's a very sad reflection on this board when you see threads ike this and this disintegrate into childish little squabbles.
Neither of those threads started off talking about any old rugby games, they were intended to discuss the British and Irish Lions for goodness sakes . . . one of the great traditions of the game we supposedly come here to discuss.
Look, I understand rugby noobs like Moffie, Dense and Dumb Ass not understanding the importance of a British Lions tour and yes, they are the ones responsible for dragging both those threads down to the levels of spite and childishness they're accustomed to but what about the rest of you? 
I didn't see too many attempts by anyone else to rescue those unfortunate threads that - believe it or not - were initiated in an attempt to discuss rugby - so what else can we assume other than the fact that the majority of posters don't come here to discuss rugby but come here to witness Moffie and his Servile Gimps ganging up on ou Maaik, or to hear these pompous twats drone on about wonderful they are and how much more money they make than everyone else . . . or to listen to long and deceitful litanies of what Rooinek allegedly said or how ugly naughty Rooinek was to this one or that one . . . or who should be apologising to them this time! 
Is that what this board has become?
Is there no-one here who actually wants to talk about the British Lions tour of New Zealand ?

Remember when I complained about how most threads were high-jacked and spoilt by Mozart and Comrade? Remember what you said to me? I must "harden up" ... !!

I have been trying to stay neutral ... trying to exclude myself from the ganking ... it's been difficult not to jump in and say a few things to these arrogant, self righteous gankers ... and I must admit I'm at the end of my tether.

I feel like that Saber Tooth in Ice Age ... the one who wanted to seperate the dark meat from the white ... frustrated, irritated, desperate to get it on. I'm about to go charging down the hill ... and to be quite frank ... the thought of it puts a smile on my face.

Funny how Mozart seems to be the common denominator on all of this boards unpleasantness.

I appreciate your attempt. Keep it up.

I am guilty of getting involved in the off the ball stuff here, but I decided over this past weekend to make a solid effort to try and avoid it in future. In the real world if I were to get involved in the type of spat I have been caught up in here, I would shoot it down in an abrupt insulting move and be done with it, yet somehow here i get drawn into it. Can't really explain why that is, but I'm gonna try and put a stop to it.

The fact that I (a known atheist) mentioned on that thread that I would be calling on a god that I don't believe in to allow the Lions to score or to smite Jaco Peyper if he screwed up was a light-hearted attempt to show how much the game meant to me - that I would (tongue-in-cheek) consider believing again if the Lions won. The humourless bible-bashing twats like Baboon-ou and BokBF clearly didn't get that and tried to make it a big issue . . . and no surprise, the obsessive Dumb Ass jumped all over it as well!

I mean really, anyone who thought my post was about god or religion rather than about the 1st test of the Lions series is seriously in need of help. Baboon-ou we know is a bit of a basket case but it seems there are others who get a bit precious when someone's religious beliefs don't conform to the drivel they were taught in Sunday School!

Klown, in all my years of posting on message boards I don't think I've ever seen anyone as obsessed or more in need of getting a life as Dumb Ass.

I think I'm Dumb Ass's first waking thought and the last thing he thinks about before he falls asleep after yet another hard day of tracking down every post I've ever made, categorising every comment I make and telling everyone how ugly I am to him.

I really don't waste a lot of time on him (which makes him even angrier . . . assuming that's even possible) but he does inadvertently bring some comic relief to the board with his daily vloermoer of how much he (and everyone else apparently) hates Rooinek with a passion bordering on the psychotic.

I used to try poking him with a stick every now and again just to see him explode into a dark cloud of unbridled fury but I worry about him getting a heart attack or something so I tend to ignore his incessant little squeaks for some love or attention. Not sure if that's just making matters worse though because you can almost sense the rage building up!

 FFS guys. 
We had a weekend of great rugby. 
There is tons of speculation and debating to do regarding the Boks...and the next AB v Lions test as well as the the prospect of the Golden Lions yet again reaching the RC finals. 
Yet here we are, talking about bullshirt for bullshirt sake. 
Let's do one of two things. Either leave it out...or admit that we love having a right old go from behind the safety/anonymity of our keyboards. 
There are many ways that one can glean a person's intelligence. Though for me, a big one is the ability to be able to disagree with someone else's idea yet entertain in discussion. 
It seems on here that the moment people disagree they are enemies for life. 
And here is where I'll now seemingly I silt everyone on the board. 
I game competitively and as a result will often be found on Reddit discussing various aspects of games with mainly young people. A lot of it is theory based so there is no right or wrong and more often the not no actual result to measure one's argument against. Yet the gamers, mostly between the ages of 12 and about 35 are able to have lengthy discussions without resorting to insults, while completely disagreeing with each other. 
I find it interesting how differently people behave on here. Maybe it's because we all "know" each other a little better. IE Familiarity...funny how that word seems to have been derived from the word family ;) But then one could argue that since we are more acquainted with each other we'd be a tad more respectful. Regardless, we're all adults who have at least one thing in common right? Rugby.  
Ahh. Managed to avoid work for 15 minutes. Tea time ;)

UrineRooi is a Snooper,  so obsessed that he snoops the social media accounts of the posters he hates and then publishes their personal details on this forum.
Now that is obsession. 
He hates Mozart, DA and myself and obsesses about us leaving the board or being kicked off the board as evidenced by the way he appeals to posters to unite with him against us.
Thankfully posters won't have their intelligence insulted, most of them can work things out for themselves rather than join forces with a low life who has no shame about scraping others personal details.
