The deadly effect of the Watson Family from Port Elizabeth

We all know who Cheeky Watson is and is well aware of his son's Luke's rugby career.   The family was deeply religious, but that does not always pertain to their behaviour when it comes to financial dealings.

Cheeky was the President of the Eastern Province Rugby Union - but in the period he destroyed the financial viability of the Union - so much so that in the end the players were not paid their salaries and given food vouchers,   SARU took over and he lost his role at the Union.    However, that is not where it ended insofar as Cheeky is concerned - he has been charged with bribery and corruption in dealing with the Transport Department of the Nelson Mandela Metro Council.   It involved circa R20 million paid to the EPRU.   Where did that money go"    

Cheeky had a method at opening meetings of the EPRU with prayer, but who is Gavin Watson lately the CEO of Global Africa - previously BOSASA.   I have a feeling he is dear Luke's Brother.   Be it as it may Gavin used to have prayer meetings at office and was the real good person - a cult personality,   However, at the Zondo Commission there was an entirely different picture of Gavin painted.    He became the CEO of Bosasa - a company with massive Government contracts,   Watson apparently authorized bribe payments of between R5 and R6 million a month to government officials and Politicians  

An ugly picture of the Watson family which  is a real eye-opener.  So is that the way they treat people,   They back-stabbed  White in 2007 and it is clear that there is likely jail sentences for some in the family unless the ANC interferes with the cases involved by allowing for parole if the culprits are found guilty in courts.

If it was only the Guptas and he Watsons it would be easy to eliminate the problem it would be able to get the problems corrected - but it is embedded in thousands of other contracts by Government - whether it is on central government level, provincial level and local Government level.    

The crooks have been appointed by the ANC through their system of deployment of cadres to senior position on all levels.   The cadres are ignorant of what is expected from them in actual job situations or i n the main corrupt crooks enriching themselves.   

There are billions involved like happened in the case of the UBS R2 billion bank heist involving both the ANC cadres and the EFF leadership.   

Is there still any honest politicians in the ANC and EFF left?   The fact is their racism stems from the fact that they believe their crooking is exposed by he media which they believe is controlled by Whites,       

Luke Watson was a brilliant openside flank ... far better than Burger ... and should have been called up to play for his country.

Um ... Moffie ... that's why they "worshipped" him. ... duh!!!

Valence Watson (One of the brothers), is the chief executive of Vulisango Holdings, the empowerment partner of controversial mining firm Simmer & Jack. Valence Watson’s business partners include Nozuko Pikoli, the wife of axed prosecutions boss Vusi Pikoli, and Siviwe Mapisa, the brother of Correctional Services Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula.

Ronnie Watson the other brother is involved with a wind farm outside Port Elizabeth which is already courting controversy.

Ronnie spent years forever in and out of the country gathering intelligence for the apartheid activists.

in 1986 Valence was charged with arson and attempted murder for employeeing 2 africans to burn down his parents family house for insurance money to pay debts for one of the other brothers failing clothing companies, Ronnie and Cheeky where on trial as well.

I checked out the  info provided by R3plic8  about the four brothers, namely -

*  Valence

*   Ronnie

*   Cheeky

*   Gavin

The charge of arson iro which Valence was found guilty and Ronnie and Cheeky also was charged are dealt with was covered in a newspaper report in the Los Angeles Times,   Valence  was found guilty, the other two not guilty,   There was no indication of what sentence was imposed  and no indication of an appeal.   The obvious defense was that the brothers were charged because of their resistance against apartheid.

What is becoming clear is that all four brothers are in fact involved involved in the Bosasa firm through the Watson Family Trust shareholding - with Gavin Watson being the poitman,   President Mbeki approved an SIU investigation  of the Government  Tenders allocated to Bosasa and the Mail and Guardian newspaper apparently got hold of a copy of the SIU report - which was dealt with in a presentation  of Hofmeyr - another ANC agent - to Parliament on the issue.   

The shambles in the National Proseuting Authority in the Zuma years  may now eventually be used as a basis for prosecution.   The matter was delayed on the pretext that the Watsons  wit their ally Mti instituted a civil case against the Mail and Guardian and thee Government would not act until that issue was resolved.   

No doubt the Zondo Commission has that SIU report available and the latest evidence is an indication that the alleged criminality will not be covered up again.   However, being involved in all kinds of alleged criminality - they engineered a security breach at the Zondo Commission and the hearing yesterday afternoon was postponed yesterday afternoon.   One of their trusted employees - an ex-policeman - turned up at the hearing.   He used his  expired police ID to get into the building and was seen talking to police guards at the hearing.   Agrizzi - the witness before Zondo was allegedly threatened by Gavin Watson and is under police protection.

This is really becoming serious.   Agrizzi  -  the ex COO of Bosasa  - has been giving  evidence for 7 days and at last mentioned involvement by Cheeky Watson.   So the list of corrupt being paid every month is growing and now involves  Zuma being paid R300 000 per month in cash through donations  to the Zuma Foundation. 

There are a huge mountain of evidence  provided by Agrizzi.   And there are more whistleblowers from Bosasa still to give evidence.     

The Watsons should now not have the accuse that they are being pubish3ed for their anti-apartheid activities - they are crooks who are using crooked politicos  to enrich both the politico's and themselves.

I am not responding to anybody in particular - am just stating that five people have been arrested and will  appear in the Ecomonic  Crime Priority Court this afternoon.   Two further arrests is imminent.   There is a rumour that one of those is at present in the USA and may have to be extradited to SA to face trial.

The four names have been announced as Linda Mti and Gillingham (the previous CEO of Correctional Services) as well as Angelo Agrizzi and Andries van Tonder (both from Bosasa),   There is no news yet whether Gavin Watson has been arrested and is amongst the accused,
