Will Rassie Send the A-team to New Zealand in advance?

A few years ago, the Boks played the Wallabies in SA with a mostly B-team, while sending out most of the A-team to New Zealand to play the All Blacks. Rassie then flew out on the night, while the players had a rest before flying out. This time is different, the Boks play Australia twice in back-to-back weekends, with a one-week break. Then 2 tests in New Zealand on back-to-back weekends

Faced with broad criticism in this forum on his constant and consistent chopping and changing of players(in particular Kakkies the know all) Rassie once again names with a few exceptions a creditable starting line-up.

And instead of putting all his eggs in one basket he's shrewd enough to have a plan with a backup team(or a part back up team) armed with fresh legs who'll be heading to NZ two weeks ahead of time to acclimatize and overcome jetlag.

What makes you think the players you've mentioned will be replaced.....they might for example come off the bench against NZ or they might not feature in the second test against Oz.

Pity this time you never had time to edit your post. So I ask you again.. who are the backup team or part of the team to replace the tight 5? And given there are 2 weeks between the second Aussie test and the first AB test, there is no difference in jet lag. The whole team will be heading out 2 weeks ahead of time.

Bet you thought there was no break before the NZ test which of course makes the whole send a squad out a week before the rest of the team a farce…3 weeks before the test… hahaha.

It's speculation. This is the 1st Aus test...we don't know how the team for the 2nd test will look...but, like you said...the break makes it possible to take the whole team a week earlier.

Sure, but unless it’s a wipe out, it will be hard to play something much different from the best team. The good news is, even if we do that they have 2 weeks to recover and get over any jet lag. Something Hysteria completely missed in her anxiety to attack posters she dislikes.

It happened om 2018 and it worked out well - so some fringe players were not on he plane together with neither the first players that left for New Zealand early - nor one late plane. If yu think that players like Libbok or Esterhuizen will even eb i New Zealsnd for the rest against the AB's - you must be further gone to dementia than we know your hatred of Erasmus and some key players has risen above levels.

Before number 7 dimness. 15 team members went the Monday before the mumber 6 match to New Zealand, They were afterwards jioined by 16 team members who playefd in the no 6 test - with the main team be added to by 8 players that played in the Aussie match. So of the 16 players who went to NZ after the Aussie match = only 8 were used in the match squad for the number 7 match;

What I was thinking was that these players would play the first test, then be on the next flight to New Zealand while Rassie utilises a B-team for the 2nd Australia test. Rassie would then fly out to New Zealand on Saturday night of the 2nd test, like he did last time.

This time, it is 2 back-to-back tests in New Zealand, so it might. make even more sense to send over most of the A-team - especially forwards.

So Dimness the number 6 match was played in Australia after the number 7 match….the site reversed the numbering order.

Shark your logic would have made sense if there was 2 weeks between the first Oz match and the NZ match. Given there is a rest week and a 3 week gap between the first Oz and NZ match, that seems too long to have a part of the squad isolated in NZ.

I think the last time Rassie did this, their were 2 weeks before the next New Zealand test. (after the first test was completed).

And in light of all this, where certain posters are fully aware of the timings, players...HISTORY...old Denise makes this comment.

When Fight Club came out, I went to watch it in the theatre.

Around half way through the film, Norton is handing out envelopes with assignments in them for Fight Club members. These assignments were all about doing things you wouldn't normally do, to show you that most of your boundaries are mental constructs that work too well in keeping you pacified.

At the point, the guy in front of me leans over to his girlfriend and say "salaries", to which i see her nod her head.

If he thought those were salaries Norton was handing out, then all this amazing film was to him was lights and sound.
