Rennie emphasized the significance of the upcoming match against the Bulls, noting its potential impact on selection for the critical tests against the Springboks. “The side we are playing against the Bulls will be quite different to the first Test team, but I think there’ll be a number of guys against the Bulls who will back up again,” he stated.
“It’d be nice to have a full seven days in preparation; well, we’re getting closer, as I’ve mentioned.”
The All Blacks are now at full strength with key players like Ardie Savea and Richie Mo’unga joining the squad. “We ended up changing our mind on that yesterday based on the fact that without Cam playing, these nines are going to play a bit, and we may need to get KP on a little bit earlier to share the load once we decide which half-back is going to back up.”

You always go into it, and we have already got a group of guys in mind, but there’s a number of spots where performances this weekend could tilt our thinking – so it’s really positive,” he concluded.
