All things rugby

Hi fellow Ruckers

As the season hots up as we approach yet another bumper edition of Super Rugby, our true colours are going to start showing again. We've got a sneaky suspicion that there may be 1 or 2 upsets on the cards this year!

As Chippo said over here here, the Blues did look absolutly awesome in 2011 when they made the ball glide around the field like a Russian ice skater! And they'll still have the gamebreakers to do it this year around! They'll be our dark horse team for 2012.

We've also been waiting for a SAFFA upset in the competition. The tune up on the highveld rings clear in my ears each and every time I make my way up there. #Lionsroar. I reckon a top 6 position could be on the cards for John Mitchell and Co.

Please guys/gals, as the Rucking Flanker enters its busiest season yet, our only requests on an otherwise open forum are:

1. Please can we refrain TOTALLY from any racial abuse. It wont be tolerated.

2. Rugga and politics have never had a happy marriage! This is a rugby forum. Lets keep it that way.

Lets enjoy an awesome 2012 together, and best of luck to all of our teams and supporters!

Until next time

Ed

Very much in agreement. Lets all take heed, keep the debates hard and honorable. Beeno, I meant what I said before; we want the beer pump presentable for it's arrival to Cheetah HQ ;)

Not to worry Ed, we mean to keep it clean but aim to hit hard and low. On that note I'm warming to a Stormers top 6.

Please feel free to fight about the 6th position.

Me, and the whole Lions team will be bitterly dissapointed if we don't win it.

I know, we do set our goals high.

Winning is what sport's all about isn't it?

Welcome aboard Johan, I hope you find posters on here interesting and engaging.

Juzzy, give us a profile mate, are from SA and which team do you follow?

Also, I'm aware about blogging being possible on the article but most of us prefer to post in one spot, for the sake of convenience  it looks like we'll be blogging under Springboks.

Nice to see a bunch of new people here.

Welcome to the best rugga forum on earth (in my opinion)

@ Denny 6th place??? haha

Come on man... even when the Lions where coming last, I'd never admit to wanting a top 6 place!

Id always want a top 4 place... even though i knew it wasnt probable!

Aim high Denny! Aim high!

Ay Flash....motto is aim high and hit low...no sweat mate, gently, gently catch the monkey as the Stormers weave their unique magic.

I see Card geting very uppity re the Cheetahs and Jvr is a bit moostruck re the Lions!!

Heed the old adage guys. KEEP YOUR FEET ON THE GROUND  and reach for the stars. Currently you are reaching for the stars and you feet are nowhere near the ground.  Hopes are too high.

Look to the Mighty Stormers to carry the SA challenge I say. Seems to me the groot brag is on!
